What are ceramic plates? What would the plates be used for? Inserts for a bullet proof vest some one said. I thought sure..... Won't they shatter? Another question is... Why/how did the SS see the barrel of the gun and fire shots if he was 4.5 miles away...?? Some others are saying said 500-600 yards away.. |

It does not do this country any good for more people to jump to conspiracy theories like MAGA does.
Given the horrible things that have come out of Trump and Vance's mouth this week in particular, how does that make you feel? Angry? Struggling with a loss of composure? Wondering what kind of country we live in?
Now what if you were a person who basically lives in the fringe? What if you were the type of person who thinks problems like these are best solved with a gun?
This doesn't take a conspiracy, many of us are feeling like we're at the end of our ropes that things have come to this. And the USA has a unique set of issues such as A. Guns B. A whole lot of men with a long list of grievances and instead of finding someone to talk things out like a therapist, a pastor, a loved one (all signs of weakness in their minds) think this is an acceptable option C. People who create conspiracies rather than deal with the reality of our world. Such as if this was a setup, then the conversation is a different type of "them" problem than the one where there are probably hundreds or thousands of these type of individuals who only need the right trigger to show up with a gun to fix something. Even though that's what we see all the time with all the other mass shooting events.

It’s just all a little too convenient IMO especially since the last guy who tried was taken out by SS. A logical person would naturally assume that after that, his security detail would be increased somewhat so your odds of getting caught yourself would be even higher. AND the golf course is right along a major roadway separated by fence with bushes on both sides of the fence. Therefore the SS were shooting, possibly, into traffic? He showed up where he thought Trump was likely to be. He got lucky with the schedule change. Maybe this wasn’t the first time he tried, but no one knew because Trump ended up not being there. People normally describe the Trump team’s competency level as poor. They screw up a lot, on basic stuff, all the time. The thing about conspiracies is that they always end up requiring a group a person feels is incompetent managing to pull off extraordinary things. These people keep writing stuff down, and end up squealing. Jan 6 planning, Project 2025. But y’all just keep assigning genius to these people, in this specific situation, rather than acknowledge anyone is susceptible to American gun violence by disaffected men, that the FBI has been warning about for years and years. |

All.of you implying it is a Trump supporter trying to Garner sympathy for Trump should know that this guy is clearly not a Trump supporter. As I said earlier in this thread he was a Bernie supporter and then Tulsi supporter. Unless he had a radical change I really doubt he is a Trump guy. His Twitter was nuts, but definitely skewed Democrat or even Socialist, certainly not Republican.
He tweeted hundreds of times how he wanted to go to Ukraine to fight against Putin. The man is probably unhinged, but spreading theories about how it is a Trump supporter trying to get sympathy is something the Republicans would say if the roles were reversed.
