ETA: Ridiculous that this was the "BREAKING NEWS" when I opened up the news on my computer after coming home from a flag football game.

Being reported here that gunman was firing through the perimeter fence of the golf course. Snipers with tripods (do they carry them with them all the time?) returned fire but suspect got away in a car but was later apprehended. |

It’s amazing how different the reporting has been on this. Maybe wait until more is known before reporting so many false narratives. On the golf course and 4.5 miles are totally different scenarios and like I said who would have cared about that but being on the golf course is different. I haven’t been following but the last I saw said that he was on the course and was seen poking out of bushes. It made it sound like he was only a hole or two away. Didn’t say that the gunman fired only that SS did but missed but I thought they said they apprehended him. Seeing so many different versions really makes you wonder. I’m not wishing anything on him but it sort of sounds like something to draw attention away from other news.
I wonder what else we will find out.

I actually don’t think he is, his Twitter is still up and he was advocating for Bernie and then Tulsi. I checked after I posted. He is no Biden fan, but he certainly isn’t a Republican if the TMZ info is correct. He does appear to be American born and white. His Twitter is quite something. |

Secret Service did fire some shoots.
Person in custody. There was a witness who took a picture of the car and plate and has confirmed visual ID of person.
Had two bags hanging on fence with contained stuff including ceramic plates.
Long gun is recovered
