I'm hoping to see them here in CA. I saw them in May and it was AMAZING. It's just getting dark here. I think another hour or 2 and I should be able to see them.

My YDS saw them in Salisbury MD and sent me a picture. I'm too far south to see them. That's a real bummer.

Yes! I was just out for awhile. She's still dancing. So much pinky red.
They are always spectacular! You're lucky to see pink, green is what you usually see.
I saw that they have been spotted in Arizona!

We have way too many trees in my area to have good viewing of them. If I was at our cabin I’d be able to see them very well over the lake if it was a clear night.

No, didn't even try. We would have to go east up into the local mountains, or out to the desert to see them.

Yes - they were super deep red/pink and a bit of purple here in the NC mountains.

We did see the aurora tonight in Eastern Washington State. It was a lovely pink but nothing like the one we had last spring. I think that was a once in a lifetime experience.

I can "see" them after my phone takes a photo. They are not nearly as bright here as they were in May but still pretty to look at!

We saw them in Central Texas! Ignore our poor tornado damaged trees and gazebo. So cool!

I missed them but someone several miles from us posted a picture on FB! Keep looking, they can die down or fade out and then pop back up. They haven't stopped here for the past 3 hours, started before it was even fully dark.

I'd have to leave my house and travel a short distance to get away from light pollution to see them. I get up so early for work, so I am in bad by 8. If they are out tonight I will attempt it. I've seen them in the past but have never photographed them.

No luck for me. Our yard has an odd set-up, and we almost never can see anything of astronomical interest happening here. Now, I was seeing people as close as 2 blocks away posting pics, but even with a cell phone we couldn't pick up anything at all in out yard.
Normally, I would have gone seeking them out elsewhere, but I just got my COVID shot and last night I was feeling really lousy from it, so I just didn't want to drag myself out to see them.

We saw them. Purple and pink and teal. Not as intense as last spring. And no gorgeous starbursts like Kristin above, but lots of streaks!!

I did, for a little while. Not too long. My daughter got great photos. That was the one thing on my original bucket list that I hadn’t checked off. It was very early in the evening, just after sunset on the east coast.

We never did see them with our naked eye but saw plenty with the camera.
