Ok, lets pretend you know nothing about the men.
You have a budget of lets say $3, up to say $50 for each gift. They could be serious, funny, or anything in between. These are city dwellers - so lets stay away from hunting, fishing, big outdoorsy stuff. Non-drivers. Also, I know nothing about what sports and/or sports teams they may like. No clothing unless it's something they might not typically buy for themselves and as I mentioned, universally liked.
Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks a bunch!

Snack boxes. You can do monthly deliveries or one time. There is even international ones.
Blu-ray movie with popcorn bucket filled with goodies.

Odd sox... they have a ton of different designs... snacks drinks comics....
All the guys that work in my production plant have a show off time each morning after shift start...
Its funny to see all these guys hiking up their pants over their steel toes to show off what they are wearing... guys from 18 up to 40/50 yr olds...

Companies are also releasing movies on DVD and Blu-ray again. We never stopped buying. |

Last year all the men I gave gifts to loved the Dr. Squatch bar soaps. I didn’t know they’d be such a hit! I got them as stocking stuffers. You can buy single bars for around $8 or gift box sets around $38. They have limited edition ones like Star Wars, Marvel, Batman, Joker. I bought more already for this holiday season.

A rechargeable candle lighter - cheap
Wooden puzzle box - may be over your price point - fun and are often quite beautiful
Travel accessories - packing cubes, toiletry bag, travel sized items etc
Fun books - books of short essays or condensed biographies, cook books or cocktail recipe books
A wooden charcuterie board and/or cheese knives
A small kitchen item from Williams Sonoma
A nice car bottle of wine
A Vuori or lulu tee
My son is close in age and he would like these things.

What about something like a Leatherman multi tool? It’s a bit over the $50 limit though. Or a nice basic tool set is something anyone could use for small household repairs, hanging artwork or pictures, building IKEA furniture, etc. Shutterfly gift card to have some favorite photos printed, or a photo book, metal print or other photo gift. Agree with packing cubes and lulu or vuori. We’ve found vuori tees to shrink though, so that could be hard.
Gift card wise, Hulu, Spotify, Netflix. Audible? $50 would cover a few months of any of those.
Coffee table books - something like Gray Malin or pictures of a place they’ve traveled?
At home milk frother if they don’t have a fancy coffee machine set up already.
Fun socks are a good one too. Happy Socks had a good Black Friday sale or Nordstrom carries them. J Crew is the go to for fun socks around here.
Wallet? An air tag with a holder would be right about $45. Travel liquid containers - the ones that magnetize together like a honeycomb, can’t think of the name at the moment - they may be over that range.

a micro leatherman (with scissors) is about $50 and can fit on a keychain or wherever. super small and super useful.. I had two til dh didn't pay attention and tsa took it.

Disclaimer that my husband is not your typical 34 year old. This year, he's asking for Ken Burns DVDs (Civil War or Prohibition ones, specifically), a kitchen mandolin, and one of those thin wallets whose name is currently escaping me. He also appreciates a good pair of jeans or a cardigan.

There are no universal gifts because each person is different.
Do they like to cook? Visit museums or zoos? Container gardening? Dining out? Reading?
I would take what I know about them and decide on a gift from there. If you dont know enough for that, then I would do something consumable

A popular gift at our house has been those interlocking pieces of metal puzzles that you try to figure out how to take apart. A bunch of 30ish guys sat in my family room for an hour goofing around with those at my daughter’s post-wedding brunch. Hanayama is the brand DH likes

My husband is 39 and loves quality wool socks, locally roasted whole coffee beans, and anything from the British section at world market.

Oh! DH is also into beard maintenance, and he really likes the beard balms from Bad Ass Beard Care, but he's recently mentioned he prefers the butters. They have some really nice scents, and they're not overly scent-y.
