Idina Menzel-Holiday Wishes
Brett Eldridge - Glow
And Daddy (Jeff) Goldblum just came out with two Christmas singles so those will be at the top of my list.
On Amazon Music I have a channel I follow that's Christmas jazz that is delightful.

I also really like Mary did you know.. and I am not at all religious... pretty agnostic... but its a pretty song and if it was about my child.. i would be in tears!! I know exactly what you mean here. I'm a liquid mess when I hear a good rendition of O Holy Night. My favorites are by Pavarotti and Josh Groban. O Holy Night should never be sung by anyone without an absolutely amazing voice. So good when sung well. My favorite of all Christmas albums is John Denver and the Muppets. Love the silliness, but there's also several unique and beautiful songs. "It's in Every One of Us" is a lovely showcase of John Denver's voice.

I have a lot of Christmas CD’s. While I like Michael Buble, Josh Groban, Harry Connick, Jr and Frank Sinatra, I really love and prefer instrumentals. While I have some generic “Christmas compilation” CDs, my favorite by far is Mannheim Steamroller (Christmas and non-Christmas).

My favorite was an Amy Grant one from the 80’s or 90’s. Still love the music but we got rid of all our CDs. Always happy when I hear one on the radio.

This is an old one from the 1970's, disco versions of Christmas songs by the Salsoul Orchestra.
I probably still have the album but just have songs on Spotify now.

I no longer buy music, but I do have the She and Him Christmas Album and it's upbeat enough I enjoy it. There was a Hallmark Christmas album several years ago that I enjoyed, but it's longgggg gone.
I tend to scroll thru the Holiday Channels on XM radio these days for my Holiday music fix.

in no particular order: 1) A Charlie Brown Christmas soundtrack, with the Vince Guaraldi trio (a classic!) 2) Ultra-Lounge Christmas Cocktails vol 1 (from the Amazon review: "A perfect martini-and-mistletoe combo, Christmas Cocktails will gaily seduce you with its bevy of nostalgic and occasionally campy holiday fare." Lou Rawls, Nat King Cole, Dean Martin, etc. 3) The Blenders, Nog (The Blenders are an a capella group from Minneapolis with gorgeous harmonies... Nog is the only CD by them I own, although it looks like there are more.) I have more Christmas compilations that are mid-century inspired, but can't remember the names of them right now. The Ray Conniff orchestra / singers, Bing Crosby, etc. are the things I remember being played on vinyl when I was a kid, so those are what I really love... I used to buy at least one Christmas album (CD, lol) every year, but I stopped. I don't think *every* artist should do a Christmas album, and IMO some songs are ruined when certain artists try to sing them. (the way Neil Diamond sings White Christmas is just wrong... I, Yi, Yi, Yi'm dreamin' of a White Christmas... "I, yi, yi, yi'm dreamin' of a White Christmas..." at 34 seconds in-- ewww!!)

For current music, I prefer to listen to a wide range of artists/songs so I don't have a specific favorite album. From my childhood though, it wasn't Christmas until Christmas With The Chipmunks was playing on the stereo! When we went through my parents things, that was the only LP that I kept. My sisters thought I'd lost my mind! This was my “play until I made my parents’ ears bleed” album

"Happiest Season" soundtrack gets lots of repeat plays around here. "The Hotel Cafe Presents Winter Songs" is another one.

I love Josh Groban but for me, John Berry's version of O Holy Night is the most beautiful I have ever heard.

While I really don't love Christmas music, the songs from the old cartoon Christmas movies make me grin. Burl Ives Silver and Gold and the other Rudolf Songs make me smile. I also love the Heat Miser song from A Year Without A Santa Claus. I think working in a mall at Christmas for 8 years did me in with the Christmas music as well as working in an elementary school. Is it fitting that the Grinch is my favorite movie character?
I did spend a lot of time listening to Fresh Aire (Manheim Steamroller) during high school and find that my favorite Christmas songs are without words. My MIL had about 6 Christmas albums of little kids signing poorly with high pitched voices that made me really appreciate just the instrumental versions. She played them for 12 hours a day all week.

Gene Autrey and Bing Crosby are why I grew up on as did our kids. I have the albums and play them along with Elvis and Jim Nabors. Newer would be Cee Low Green, Aaron Neville, and have many Hallmark, Pier One and several other Christmas compilations. I try to do one every year too. I still don’t have James Taylor’s Christmas and have been listening to Jimmy Fallon’s o. Sirius

I have 2 of those Time-Life CDs of classic Christmas songs. Oh and it’s not officially Christmas until we hear Hudson and Landry’s “A Frontier Christmas” one time. “Harlow, you made my socks drop.” “Don’t put the bad mouth on the Padre.” youtu.be/gd5xAado2-8?si=fsWo2eLp9XI0Z95e not the most PC

Elvis! My mom used to play her old LP all the time. When I got my own home, I bought myself the CD.
I also love old English carols sung by a top-notch choir.

Probably Pentatonix..
But I've not really listened to many except what's on the radio. I don't have funding to buy, or want to spend money on, holiday music. But my daughter has Pentatonix and we all like them

Oh my gosh, one of my younger siblings was given "A Chipmunk Christmas" in 1981, and they played that thing endlessly. I imagine if I had the record on now, I could still recite most of it along with the record, right down to the last line on side 1 where it told you that it was time to flip the record over, LOL! Yup, I got it on cassette around that time and listened to it endlessly. We had an even older version than that on an LP! My parents had a big console record player that we would play it on. I remember being really little and my dad playing a Bing Crosby Christmas album on that stereo. There must have been others too but I don’t remember them as well. A few years ago, DD and I were listening to Christmas music on the radio in the car and a Bing Crosby song came on. She said, “Who is that singing? I really like it.” Me: It’s an old song by Bing Crosby. DD: Is he dead? Me: Yes. For a long time now. DD: Do they still sell his CDs? Me: I’m sure they do. DD: Can we get it? Me: LOL. I guess! 🤣 Her other favorite that she pretty much has on repeat during the Christmas season is Mariah Carey’s All I Want for Christmas is You. She loves looking up all the “It’s TIIIIIIME!” videos of her on YouTube! They’re pretty funny.

I have been wracking my brain for quite a while trying to remember the name of another one I really like… finally remembered it! I don’t really listen to religious music other than at Christmas, so ordinarily wouldn’t choose this— but the harmonies these ladies sing are just beautiful!!! There are a few songs on this album that make me tear up every time I listen— the harmonies give me goosebumps. Point of Grace, A Christmas Story (from 1999) (link is to a playlist if the album on YouTube)
