What's the furthest you've travelled from home in one trip, one way, be it work or leisure? Google tells me that Key West, Florida and New Orleans are both about 4,450 miles from where I live, north of Scotland, so I will say 4,450 miles.

I travel regularly between Munich, Germany and Melbourne, Australia, which google tells me is 16,108km. I have done the trip via London, which means overshooting and the flying back and that’s 16,904km.

I wasn't sure which was the furthest so I had to google search. 6335 miles from my home in Central Texas to Athens, Greece. Edit- When we were in Athens, we were at one of the very crowded tourist attractions. I started talking to the lady smashed up next to me and she asked me where I was from and I said Texas. She said she was from Austin. That's about 60 miles from me. We laughed about it. Small world but it happens every time we travel.  |

Utah to Germany, just over 5000 miles. ME TOO! I grew up in SLC but moved to Germany when I was 20. I lived there for 3 years before returning to the states (California). While in Germany I traveled a ton. The furthest place would have been Athens Greece and Moscow Russia - both were a little over 2,500 miles just in different directions. |

LAX to Melbourne. It says it is about 8,000 miles and just over 14 hours flying time. Longest flight we have ever taken. AND, we flew home on Sept 10, 2001.

I was thinking it would be somewhere in Norway but Korea is a bit farther (5,200 miles to Incheon airport). The first time I went it was 6,740 miles since I was living in Ohio.

I went to Helsinki from Seattle a few summers ago, and that is as far as I have been. I haven't been anywhere off this continent other than places in Europe.
