Did anyone see it? Trump and Zelenskyy were snapping at each other. Vance sounded like an absolute turd. Then there was the reporter who asked Zelenskyy why he doesn't wear a suit. Absolutely brutal. What a shitshow.

It was an absolute disgrace from Trump and Vance. It was so obvious that they were trying to intimidate Zelenskyy into something - probably capitulating to the Russians.
So ironic that they called Zelenskyy disrespectful when they were the ones showing no respect.
It is going to take a very long time for the world to recover from this presidency.

The whole world saw who we are now. Aligned with Putin and Russia. The world needs to act accordingly. For those that live in other countries, make sure to use your voice to let your leaders know who they should align themselves with. They will be hesitant, because it will be painful. But pain is coming anyway, at least you still have the chance to be honorable. For all the United States has done to promote the cause of democracy and freedom, this is a shame that will live for generations.

This is rock bottom for the United States. Alliances that have been in existence since WWII. American men died building those alliances. I found it interesting that Trump is putting a 25% tariff on aluminum from Canada because he wants to bring the jobs home. The US doesn't have the raw materials for large amounts of aluminium production but whatever. He said a few days ago that he was talking to Putin who can arrange large amounts of aluminum to be imported from Russia. What he means is that Russia has offered the US the ability to extract bauxite for aluminum production from the Ukraine areas that Russia has seized. 🙃 |

I am so angry at those clowns. They probably are proud of themselves, but they humiliated us. JD Vance, my former Senator, is unbelievably smug for no apparent reason. I guess that the meeting didn’t go according to Putin’s plan. Good for Zelensky for standing up to them, and for denying them the rare earth materials.
I am old, and have never seen anything close to this bad from any President. I didn’t like Bush the Younger, but he was a master diplomat compared to those 2 chuckleheads.

USA has become the enemy of democracy and peace. Canada's made its position clear; we stand with Ukraine. I hope Zelenskyy gets an invite back to Ottawa for some actual hospitality. |
