Honey Bee is giving mid 2000s Simple Stories vibes with the grungy creamy color palette!

I don't know if I just have too much already or what but the only thing I added to my wishlist were enamel dots.

The fall, Halloween and Christmas lines are all lovely but not distinctive enough from previous lines for me to justify buying more.
I'm a huge Winnie the Pooh fan, but I don't really have a need for seasonal Winnie the Pooh or birthday (thinking of the new SS one).
Not a fan of the grungy Honey Bee collection. Also, how many bee collections do we need?
In general, I like EP and CB collections but probably won't buy any of these.

No thanks to any of this.
Christmas might be nice...but currently I cannot look seriously at a Christmas line without an eye roll and an internal shut down.
I'm so over Pooh. Was never INTO Pooh, and now I'm just wondering *why* so many lines?
And I'm not an autumnal scrapper. I think it's pretty but it's not my vibe.

The Fall/Americana mash up is definitely not my vibe. I do like the CB "It's Fall" line. Fall Pooh, nope. More boring halloween and christmas lines. And lastly, Honeybee is just yuck.

The only one that caught my eye was Honey Bee.. I still need to look at again.. I like the colors for sure.
Looking a little closer I like the bees and flowers mixed... not so much of just bees on their own. I might get a few sheets. My cart is getting full!

Before I even looked at them, my first thought was "probably nothing will go on my wish list", but I did go look just in case they came out with something different for a change. CB - Americana: With these brands it's all about the B-sides for me, because their fronts are just too busy for me all of the time. Unfortunately, the colors seem a bit drab to me, so even the B-sides don't speak to me. EP - Christmas Express: I don't love X-Mas lines that are pretty much just bright red, green, & white. CB - Christmas Village: While I did see a few extra colors, this line still didn't inspire me. EP - Ghosts & Goblins: Nothing for me here. CB - Honey Bee: Although typically the honey bee/hive theme wouldn't be one I'd be enthused about, I do really like deeper yellows, and I like the dark green and black as well, so I'll get several sheets here for the b-sides, AND I actually do have some bee pictures to scrap from last year so I can even use a few of the a-sides, too. CB - It's Autumn: I got the drab feeling with this line also. EP - Winnie the Pooh: Autumn: If I wasn't buying anything else, then I wouldn't start an order just for anything here, but since I do have an order started, I did see a few b-sides in brown, green, and orange that I would buy to add to my general color stash.

I'm so over Pooh. Was never INTO Pooh, and now I'm just wondering *why* so many lines? Because they finally can, I guess. And maybe it's still a popular baby theme, so people like it for that?? But it does surprise me that the other things like Wizard of Oz and the original Mickey dropped off in comparison.

B sides only for me if anything on a few of the Christmas papers to increase my red patterned paper stash... otherwise seen it, didn't like it the first time, not going to pay full price for it but may put it in the cart if I need a minimum order value.

Nothing screamed "buy me" to me. I do like the Honey Bee papers a lot. I'm thinking of buying a few for junk journaling. (I know, not junk, but IDNC).

I think EP typically have had better b sides on their Pooh themed lines but there's nothing in this one I particularly care for. The CB autumn line has a couple of nice b sides that I might add to a future order.
The Honey Bee line is very drab, I don't like this direction they are going. I would have been all over the yellows in this if they had been less dingy.
I'm surprised to say there are a couple of really nice b sides in the Christmas lines, I really like the dark green stars and I always love a good red dot. I feel the same way about the Americana line.
The halloween line is just not something that appeals to me.

Americana - pretty, love the yellow and red in the line but I hardly use autumn papers. I just grab a few for our pumpkin patch trip. I believe I have enough for this year.
Christmas Express - the deer is stinking cute!! Also interesting that some of the 12x12 stickers are white outlines and some are black. Zero interest in the papers but might get the sticker pack for card envelopes and to make tags.
Christmas Village - I like the Santa Washi. Not my style so pass.
Ghosts & Goblins - I REALLY like the cute ghost dies. I might grab those at some point.
Honey Bee - lovely but not my style or thing
It's Autumn - the scarecrow is cute. I love the burnt orange but that peachy color is throwing me off. Odd color to add. Zero need for anything
Winnie the Pooh: Autumn - zero interest. Was never a Pooh fan

The only line that remotely interests me is Honey Bee. I have some perfect pictures for the B side papers. Everything else is so repetitive.

I actually added Americana to my "look at my LSS" store list. A lot of it fits perfectly with the local apple orchard we go to almost every year (except for the peaches).
The rest of it (including the ones from the other post) are all "meh". Don't like most of it and don't need it either.

how many bee collections do we need? For me, the bees having a moment is excellent. We refer to my team's location as "The Hive," and they have embraced the bee theme. In fact, just the other day one of them put up a bee-themed "poster" that was actually the art on the front of a large gift bag. So I'll be picking up most of that collection. I've been sweeping in and grabbing things during the Scrapbooking Bee Theme Extravaganza Fever of 2025 pretty regularly, because I know I can use it in cards etc. I grant extra points for anything that refers to a hive. My boss actually referred to it as the Hive for the first time ever yesterday, and I named it that probably 4 years ago.

There are a few cute things scattered here and there in all of these lines, but nothing that really excites me! I do like the bright purple in Ghosts and Goblins! The star paper and the checkered paper are usable. I honestly don't know how Echo Park continues to turn out SO MANY collections all the time and actually make money. Everything is so the same all the time! It's just repeat of a repeat. I guess if it's working for them, then great, but it doesn't work for me.

So weird to see Christmas lines already - it seems early. Also seems like there were a lot less 4th of July lines released this year! I even looked back through ACOT and there's only a couple!

Given a release each month & the number of collections released per month, especially for annual seasons/holidays, it's no wonder the color palettes/themes/icons/sentiments/etc. have become predictable/repetitive/formulaic.

... Also, how many bee collections do we need? ... I continue to be surprised every time a new bee themed collection is released. It appears both bees & ladybugs have been added to the unwritten list of industry-approved annual themes, since there's a new collection released each year!

The Pooh falling out of the tree paper made me literally laugh out loud. Not sure that I will use it, but I am amused by it!

Holiday reveals/releases are always in the summer, which I also find difficult to even consider during high temperatures & humidity (in the SE US).
