I’m intrigued by the inks, but not sure I need more.
I’m not interested in any of the dies.

I don't think I'm the target audience for these - nothing added to my wishlist

No thank you. I'm am still disgruntled with the new 49 and Market rule, of no discounts for 30 days....so not buying anything from them, at the moment.

I love some of the ink colours; that said, I don't need anymore. So I'll see if my store brings them in. If she does, and she also brings the reinkers, I may get a few colours but I'd have to purge a few as well.
I am a sucker for ornament dies. Also love the poinsettia & the ones that look like postage stamps.

On Instagram 49 and Market has been talking about how they’re working with Ranger and leading up to a big reveal. Wasn’t hard to guess. I figured matching inks.

I guess that the negative feedback in regards to their policy change, must have helped....since they rescinded that rule.

I'm not in the market for inks. I have plenty, even if I don't have full sets. And the dies are fine, but rather standard?

The inks are pretty and I love the ornament stamps & dies, but I don't think I'd use them enough to warrant purchasing them.

I don't own any inks, dies, or stamps, so this release is not for me.

I would only pick up the inks if there was a color I needed/wanted. I don't buy whole collections of anything typically anyways. I do like the stamps but too pricey for me.

Not in the market for inks.
I love that beetle car! And the poinsettia set looks really comprehensive if I didn't already have a bunch of sets that I can work with to create a card front like that.

Vicki Boutin will be demonstrating the inks tonight on her youtube live tonight. I'll watch to see how they are used.
I've got quite a bit invested in Distress Ink and Distress Oxides already....

I don't have any inks. What brand would you recommend please? It's going to depend on what you want to use them for...stamping? stamping to colour with alcohol markers? stamping to colour with watercolours? clean stamping or distressed? stencilling? ink blending? heat embossing?

Thank you. That would only be for stamping images or words. I'm. Not a big stamper, but 8'd like to have a few ink pads still. Versafine ink was what I used when I had ink pads. Distress oxides are good for stenciling, but they aren't making images as detailed as Versafine. I heard Catherine Pooler's inks were some if the best inks. But if 49 and Market managed to do both mixed media and crisp stamping, that would be perfect, haha.

Distress oxides weren't making images as detailed as I wanted. yeah - they don't stamp crisp and clean by design I'm going to tag a couple of stamp-y folks Shakti, kmage, joblackford, MichyM can you share your expertise?

I have despised EVERY Ranger ink I have ever tried!
I ADORE all my Tsunkineko inks -- I have all 36 Memento Dew Drops, a growing collection of VFC (only available full size), and a handful of Delicata and a few others. I've been blending/stenciling with VFC as well as preferring them for stamping sentiments. I also love Memento for stamping, while not quite as crisp as the VFC, it's still crisp.
I also have Concord & 9th for stamping. I have determined that I do not like stenciling/blending with dye ink, regardless of brand.
If you liked VFC in the past, you might as well stick with it. If you want more colors -- they've just added a bunch. If you want smaller pads, you could try the Memento dew drops.

I was drawn to 49 and Market because they seem polyvalent (and maybe because of Vicki Boutin's collection too!). I'll buy other VF inkpads. Eta: does VFC mean Versafine Clair? What makes them different from the original Versafine please?

What makes them different from the original Versafine please? The main difference is apparently a tweak in the formulation that allows for brighter colors in the Clair line. Otherwise very similar and the two lines complement each other. They are known for crisp clear stamping. nicolewattcreates.com/ink-lab-difference-between-versafine-versafine-clair/One of the key things that some people like or hate about certain lines of ink is whether they are felt or foam pads, which translates to how juicy they are, how often they need re-inking, and how they can be handled. Versafine are felt pads, Catherine Pooler inks which I enjoy are juicy foam pads that let out a lot of color. Other considerations are what kind of stamping you do, especially if you're are using other mediums with stamping - mixed media, watercolor, markers, etc.

I see some ink colors I will consider trying.
The stamps/dies are not calling to me.

Thank you for posting this thread. I do love seeing what's coming out, even when I'm not the target audience.
That being said, holy cow, has it been that long since I bought dies & stamps sets?! Is that the typical price now? I would get tired of them before I got my money's worth.
On a side note, but does anyone remember, a very long while back, that some of us would decide that a tool would need to be used 1 time per dollar cost to make it worth it? I still kind of use this rule in my head when buying stamps and dies, not that I'm some big spender.

I love my distress oxide inks for many reasons and I do occasionally use them for stamping a big chunky sentiment. But for stamping, nothing beats Versafine Clair ink. It's the best, hands down. (unless you are coloring in an image with copics or another alcohol ink, in which case, do not use it)

YES - and I definitely need to use some of my stamps and dies some more to justify having purchased them...

I exclusively scrapbook & currently use VersaFine Clair, a quick-drying, archival, pigment ink that yields saturated color, crisp words, detailed images, & is still embossable minutes later! For tone-on-tone stamping & heat embossing (with Ranger Super Fine Detail EP), I use VersaMark, a clear, archival, pigment ink that also captures fine detail. HTH.
