And I miss them. Have I just not seen them if they've still been posted?
Did you set goals for 2025? If so, have you made any progress towards them? How about for August? Any summer goals? Or looking forward, do you have any fall or winter goals? Anything you want to work on or finish up by the end of the year? Any themed albums or other big projects you're thinking about?
And for those who don't set goals, what motivates you? Do you have a list of things you work on with no time frame in mind? Do you scrap whatever you feel like scrapping?

One bigger project that I planned to work on this year is a travel album and I haven't taken one step on it. Besides that I haven't set many goals this year. I'd like to get back to it, though. It helps me keep scrapping regularly. I need to start looking through those travel pictures and narrow them down to the ones I'll use. Goal set!

Elsabelle - I'm sorry, at some point I stopped posting them. Did you want to take them over? Thanks for posting this one. 2peasrefugees.boards.net/thread/149088/projects-planning-2025 was a 2025 goals thread This is what I posted there: Scrapping my big UK trip Continuing to finish up partial albums Continuing to work on writing up and scrapping genealogy pages Progress?I finished the big UK trip - it turned into SIX albums -wow! I completed DD18's high school album (8x8) and her Girl Scout album (Ambassador years 11/12th grade - also 8x8) I've done a few genealogy pages I've started DD18's University album - I have a couple of pages left for Summer B (which ended on Aug 8th) and plan to complete those by the start of Fall Semester (Aug 21) I'm currently working on filling in gaps in November 2015 - just a few more pages left there.

My fall goals are to not count a layout complete unless it has a Silhouette shape of some kind, a stamp, or a scrap from this bin sitting on my desk, on it somewhere... AKA I need to use my Silhoutte, use stamps, and make the scrappiest of scraps pile smaller.
My other goal is to finish my Washington DC album. I was doing great and then made a bunch of layouts that still need journaling.

My always goal is >> get some scrapbooking done. Recently uploaded over 250-ish photos to walgreens. Working on editing them. Want to be ready for their next sale of "order 100+ prints for 10cents or 12 cents each". Put away a pile of products that I had out, as well put away some new product. Currently awaiting a hold order from ACOT. It's been released, but waiting for pre-orders to arrive. Looking forward to receiving that. ![]()

My biggest scrappy goal for this year was to finish my wedding album. I have done a few pages but there are several to go. I just haven't been motivated to work on it. Since it is purposely journaling-heavy, I don't want to force it so we'll see what happens. My 2024 Countdown to Christmas album is complete but I still have those couple of Christmas Day spreads to complete for my 2023 album. I took my oldest on a birthday trip, and I'm happy to say that that vacation album is done. My 2025 Project Life pages go alongside my chronological pages, and they are in various stages of being done. January-March is completely done, photos from April-June have been chosen, and I haven't done anything with July or August yet. This is always a project that I don't like much while I'm doing it but I love the pages once they're done. September-December is my favorite part of the year and 2 of the 3 months when I take the most photos so I don't have any other immediate scrappy goals besides having fun & scrapping it afterwards.

I didn't set any goals in the beginning of the year but these are on my to do list for the rest of the year: 1) Finish organizing and culling photos. I want to finish this up by the end of the month.
2) Create a database of some sort of completed layouts and ultimately with a cross reference to my pictures. I sorted my layouts and there are a quite few stories that were duplicated and there are so many layouts I completely forgot making which could easily be repeated. This will also help me create a list of stories I do want to tell.
3) Add pictures to workshop albums - there are 3 from Vicki Boutin's classes and 1 from a Doodlebug project. The DB project is Christmas themed - I am going to make a list of the # of photos, orientation and topic (if applicable) and will finally wrap this up this up by the end of the year.
4) Add pictures to the 35+ layouts I made in classes and workshops. There's one set of pages from the VB Where To Next (travel) collection so I am going to make a point of taking pictures for these pages when we go away next month.
5) Complete the upcoming Pink Fresh Studio's card techniques class. The class is next weekend so I will get this done by the end of the month.
6) Make Christmas cards. I'll make these at the retreat I am going to in October or in November.
I probably should have put this list together 6 months ago and sorry it turned into a sort of brain dump.

My goal is to finish albums/projects that are in various states of completion (WITL 25, and dd 23 & 24) and then more on to smaller projects going forward. I do weekly project life and I’m just not enjoying working on the albums dedicated to one subject so I’m going to switch to trackers notebooks for them and document in smaller format IF I feel like it.

Linda , thanks for the link. I thought I remembered posting on a thread about 2025 goals and I searched but couldn't find it. I have to say I might not remember to post a thread regularly. Maybe between the two of us we'll be at least hit and miss with it. And wow! Six albums for one trips! That's a lot of memories documented.

That's a lot of memories documented. Sounds good Yeah - we were gone 2 weeks to England and Scotland and met up with family members, including my sister, who I hadn't seen in 30+ years. It was an amazing trip.

I'm currently working on filling in gaps in November 2015 - just a few more pages left there. Nov 2015 is done and there are just a few layouts needed for October and then 2015 will be finished

I have really floundered with keeping up on PL this summer. Since June I have no fully completed weeks, a patchy framework for some weeks, at best. I just haven’t been able to focus enough to get any momentum to make decent progress.
My youngest (16) started school last week, my (local, still at home) college kids start Tuesday. Hopefully once I have a schedule to live around I can get more work done. I don’t want to be playing catchup! I find PL to be most rewarding when done in real time.

Im suck on PL. I want to get caught up this week.
May - needs journaling June - needs journaling July - needs started (I am always one month behind on PL, so I am not 'behind' on July yet. But I am ready to get it started).

I finally moved into my new craft room. It took so much longer than expected. The carpet pad was a waffle pad (probably 1980s) and they stapled it to the floor (original 1922 oak hardwood). What a bitch to mpull all the staples. It also was slow going because I touched everything and purged stuff I've been holding onto "just in case". The pale yellow paint I chose is perfect. It's light but doesn't feel stark. The warm wood floors help (the original finish has seriously ambered to orange). Now that I've moved in I can finish my summer cards and get them out this week.
