Have the doctors checked the nodules for Sarcoidosis It is a rare autoimmune type disease and usually hard to diagnose.
I was diagnosed with this disease many years ago. My lungs were full of nodules. I am in remission from Sarcoidosis but have other problems as a result. Just a thought.

(((Jenjie))) You are in my thoughts and prayers. I am so sorry that you are so overwhelmed. I've been the patient and the caregiver, and in my experience, it's so much harder to watch a beloved family member go through a serious illness. Please go easy on yourself--if a friend of yours was in the situation you are in and was upset and had a poor attitude/was snappy at times, you wouldn't take what she did/said personally and would be gracious and loving to her while trying to ease her burden. So why are you beating yourself up in the same situation? You've got so much going on that something has to give. I am sad that your extra preparations to surprise your son for his birthday didn't go well. I'm sure when you son looks back on this event when he is much older and realizes everything you were going through at the time, that he will be so sad and embarrassed at his attitude. The fact that he maintained his composure through the party and acted gracious is a huge indication that you and your dh are parenting him well. I think that this birthday party will become one of his favourite childhood memories because it is such a wonderful example of the strength of your love and determination that his birthday not be ruined. Please allow your family and friends to help you. You need time to rest as well as time to spend with your dh and children. Quality time with your family is a huge priority, but it's easy to let that time slip away while you are struggling to keep up with household chores and everything that we feel like we absolutely *have* to do in our extremely busy society. I hope and pray that you dh's doctors will figure out exactly what is going on ASAP so your dh will be able to start treatment. We serve an awesome God that loves us and will use this situation for everyone's good. It takes a strong person to admit that they need the help of others and allows Jesus to carry them in His arms and accepts the help and prayers of others. [ I'm listening. Thank you. I'm feeling pretty broken today, just overwhelmed by everything and so stinking tired. I mentioned on a.different thread that I went to the doctor the other day. He gave me a script for low dose Xanax. I am hoping to make plans for breakfast with a gf next week. I need one of my girlfriends to smack me upside the head a little, speak Jesus to me and pray over me.

Make sure you bring lots of kleenex to breakfast w/your girlfriend, because you have every right to have a good girlie, ugly cry. This is way too much to hold inside. Knowing that you're not alone, because G-d has you covered is also going to carry you through this surreal time. I continue to have your dh and you in my prayers. May you find comfort and some relief during this trying time.

I had a lump around the underside of my elbow that was removed and biopsied. Then a chest exray showed lots of nodules in my lungs.
