An entire sheet of alphabet stickers, with just a few lone letters left? I have been scrapping for 15 years, and have rarely seen an alphabet sticker that I didn't love. I have never used up a sticker sheet. I don't think it is possible.

No, I haven't. No, I don't know any other scrapper who has. If anyone claims they have, I want to see ALL the pages they claim to have used the letters on. I think it's an urban scrapbooking legend. scrappinjudy, I haven't gotten to that point yet, but if I ever end up w/a sheet where I've used up all the 'good' letters and have *frankensteined* as many of the rest as is humanly possibly, then yes, I would pitch it.

I have never used up a whole sheet and yet I still hold on to my "orphan" letters. I always try to make a note of using the orphans during the Valentine season such as QT Pi and I Luv U.

I have seen people use the leftover letters for backgrounds, etc. I think that would be a fun way to use them.

Yup, nearly used an entire sheet of Thickers when I was working on a large 60+ page album of an event. I used the same Thickers throughout the entire album. Of course, no one ever really needs all those z's and q's, so I can't say I used the whole dang thing!

No, never! I have reached the point when all the vowels, S, T, and other frequently used letters are gone I pitch it. It took a while to feel ok about doing that!

I used the orphan Qs, Xs, and Zs to make an eye chart strip for one of my LOs. In the meantime, my DDs named our kittens Xavier and Zoe so those former orphan letters get plenty of use, now.

I would never claim this! I have taken Thickers from all different fonts and put them as a title. Then I ink them with the Prima (super wet) inks and make it look like it was supposed to be eclectic fonts with a unifying color. Those inks cover every kind of Thicker I have.

Not in my lifetime.
I actually went back to my Quickutz to make alphabets as i can make them glittery or however fancy I want them. I never run out of the good letters. So I am good. For life!

I made a background sheet out of leftover letters once as part of a scrapbooking challenge. Meh. It looked okay for one layout, but I wouldn't hesitate to toss leftover letters now if I'm left with a sheet of unusable letters. (Who am I kidding?! I'll be keeping all of my unusable Q's and K's in a gallon sized zippy just in case)

Okay, we all need to name our kids things like Quazar or Quartz to get rid of all of those Qs and Zs. This coming from someone who named her kids:
Madeleine (yeah 3 Es) Lucien (that one is fine) Anastasia (yeah 4 As)
Would you believe I almost never use my kid's full names in any titles, lol?
Oh and once the major vowels are all gone, and I can't think of any words I might make with the sheets they get moved way to the back for the next purge. I have basically used up sheets to the point where nothing more can be spelled...to me that is good enough.

Ha, I gave my youngest a name with an X in it and joke that it is to us up letters.
I don't know that I ever have really used up a sheet. I've been tidying up my craft room, however, and pitched a bunch of pre-thicker sticker sheets that were down to undesirable letters, which felt good.

Q & Z are always the ones I'm stuck with. I rarely put their names on pages because they're just too freakin' long - 7 letters each. Yours are worse, lol. And between my 2 boys, they only kill off 1 E & 2 As, but I use 2 Cs. Not a popular letter, but there aren't that many on most sheets, so I'm guaranteed to be out of them fairly quickly.

I have a kid with Z in her name! Her name is Eliza.
I gave a few sheets to my girls to use on "projects". They were very little, probably 3 and 5. I quietly started to panic when they gleefully pulled off the random letters and stuck them willy nilly on their paper. Then I though how silly I was being for worrying about some odd letters. Am I really going to make a title that says, "The Quarantined Quaker Quacked"?

Nope, and like previous posters, I'm not sure it can be done, lol! I use up the E's, I's, T's, S's, etc. pretty quickly, and our newest cat's name is Zola, so that is helpful... I'm not sure I've ever thrown a mostly-used up sticker letter sheet out, because I have way too many of them (letter stickers are one of my main weaknesses), and I don't scrap enough! lol!! But, if I ever DO get to that point, I won't feel bad about it-- looking at it from a cost per letter standpoint, I figure I've gotten my use out of them if I use about half of the letters on a sheet, and to me it's crazy to keep partly used supplies that I most likely won't ever use, just to feel like I'm not throwing away 10 or 20 cents... the stress of keeping the stuff around costs me more than that 10 or 20 cents would. I have made a few titles with my Silhouette, too, but there's just something about the raised look of Thickers that I still love, even though I find them difficult to use sometimes-- like, what page topic will I ever do so I can use up the glittery navy blue cursive font Thickers?? I have no eartly idea, but they were so pretty in the store, I had to have them!!

I have! When I scrap I usually do a similiar page for all three of my daughters, so the letters get used up quickly. This is how I use up my Z's and Q's:
Z-zoo (we go to the zoo annually) Q- question and answer (Q: and A:)

They come in handy when you need to make an anonymous ransom note.
Maybe this should go on the scrappy confessions thread instead.

They come in handy when you need to make an anonymous ransom note. Maybe this should go on the scrappy confessions thread instead. LOL! Just make sure you wear gloves when you make it. You don't want any of those pesky fingerprints on the sticky side of the letter to show up as forensic evidence! DH thought I was totally nuts when I vetoed several of his name suggestions for our DD because they contained too many letters, too many vowels or too many duplicate letters (i.e. Savannah, Hannah, Isabella, Madeline, etc.) I totally pulled the scrapper card on him! Maybe the answer is for everyone who loves sticker letters to create a round robin of sorts with other like minded scrappers. You'd put all of your half used sheets of stickers in a box and send them to the first person on the list. That person takes out what they want and adds their own half used, unloved letter stickers to the box and sends it on to the next person who takes what they can use, adds their own and sends it on. Eventually it ends up back with the first person and they can go through the box once more to see if there is anything new in there that they want, and the cycle can either continue at that point to anyone who wants to stay on the list, or what's left can be tossed or donated. Just a thought! Maybe between several people's leftovers, something useful could be cobbled.
