I almost never use my kids names on titles of scrapbook pages but I still did not seem to have scrapping in mind when I named them.
Just to spell each of my kids first names once I would need 4 a's, 3 l's, 3 n's, 3 s's, and 2 i's.

Ha-ha, nope! Although I would say I have come close on one style of thickers (kraft color corrugated ones) although I have dipped into the 2nd identical package for a few letters.... Guess if I buy multiple packs of the same style I'll never have any hope of getting through any, either!

Not an entire sheet - no... I have used so much of a sheet that it got weird or there weren't any "good" letters left. Once I'm out of vowels, I figure that sheet is pretty much finished for its usefulness. When that happens, I just give it away or trash it and move on. It's a great excuse to buy more letter sticker sheets. Haha!

I'm going to have to go thru all my letters to make sure I'm not hanging onto any duds.

I have not. I am close on one pack of thickers but I have so many, I don't use a whole package very quickly. I have tried to purge them but letter stickers is one thing I always use so don't really like to purge. I have just made myself buy no more!

No, I haven't. And between having a million sheets/packs of them and rarely using numbers, I don't see that ever happening.

I make a stocking basket for each grandchild several years ago and their names were spelled using button letters from my stash. DD is pregnant again and I told her before she picks a name she has to check with me to see if I still have those particular letters!

It rather depends on what you mean by "used up" -- I used one style of black thickers for a large-ish vacation album -- writing all titles, etc. in the thickers. I used many sheets -- even making Franken-letters from some of the strays. But I don't think any single sheet was TOTALLY empty -- as I recall, there are always some single strays that are difficult to use even as a "part". But most of the sheets were pretty well gone.

That was interesting to read. I know I no longer buy alpha stickers if the pack has the same amount of every letter (or very close to it). I can Frankenstein some of the letters to be more useful but it's just easier if they give me more vowels (and apparently t's) to begin with.

Years ago, one of the companies sold separate little sheets of just vowels. Wish they all did that.

Thickers have been a weakness, tho I have reined it in a wee bit! I will never, in this lifetime, use up a pack! And yes, those mostly used up packs are still sitting in my stash. Maybe this will motivate me to pitch the ones that really aren't going to work for anything.

Not having enough vowels is why I tend to use alpha stamps more than stickers. I have having to do the math on the sheets before I make a title with stickers.

I will look on the back of the sheets I have left and see if the name is on there. I want to say Frances Meyer, but I could be wrong.

This layout is a few years old but I. Am so proud of it because it used a ton of letters for the background. Letters are "Road Trip" by Sticker Studio. I love their uniformity.

No, but I have made letters with the leftovers. A 'Q' can make a nice 'O'. An 'X' can be turned into a lower case 'l', and so on. But even then there are always a few I can't use and those end up in the trash.

At the moment, I am on a mission to try use up one whole set of alphas. Done five layouts so far, and it's getting a little difficult to create a title with the leftovers.....lack of vowels are the issue. Already turned "d" into "a" etc. "e" are the problem tho...... Be interesting to see how many more I get out of it. ( it is a prima canvas lettering sheet BTW)
