No, I haven't.  

No, I don't know any other scrapper who has.

If anyone claims they have, I want to see ALL the pages they claim to have used the letters on.

I think it's an urban scrapbooking legend.


scrappinjudy, I haven't gotten to that point yet, but if I ever end up w/a sheet where I've used up all the 'good' letters and have *frankensteined* as many of the rest as is humanly possibly, then yes, I would pitch it.

I have seen people use the leftover letters for backgrounds, etc. I think that would be a fun way to use them.

Nope....cut them up add them to mixed titles then pitch tme when its down almost nothing or I know I'm tired of font or color......

No, never! I have reached the point when all the vowels, S, T, and other frequently used letters are gone I pitch it. It took a while to feel ok about doing that!

My 2 first DGSs names are Griffin & Gavin..............has my DD NO respect for scrappers' letters???

Not in my lifetime.

I actually went back to my Quickutz to make alphabets as i can make them glittery or however fancy I want them. I never run out of the good letters. So I am good. For life!

I made a background sheet out of leftover letters once as part of a scrapbooking challenge.

Meh. It looked okay for one layout, but I wouldn't hesitate to toss leftover letters now if I'm left with a sheet of unusable letters. (Who am I kidding?! I'll be keeping all of my unusable Q's and K's in a gallon sized zippy just in case)

Ha, I gave my youngest a name with an X in it and joke that it is to us up letters.

I don't know that I ever have really used up a sheet. I've been tidying up my craft room, however, and pitched a bunch of pre-thicker sticker sheets that were down to undesirable letters, which felt good.

I have a kid with Z in her name! Her name is Eliza. 

I gave a few sheets to my girls to use on "projects". They were very little, probably 3 and 5. I quietly started to panic when they gleefully pulled off the random letters and stuck them willy nilly on their paper. Then I though how silly I was being for worrying about some odd letters. Am I really going to make a title that says, "The Quarantined Quaker Quacked"?

I have! When I scrap I usually do a similiar page for all three of my daughters, so the letters get used up quickly. This is how I use up my Z's and Q's:

Z-zoo (we go to the zoo annually)
Q- question and answer (Q: and A:)

This cracked me up. Unfortunately no, because you will have already used up all the letters A, I, E and T. 

Nope...although I do have uses for a lot of "odd" letters...my nephew has an x in his name, another has a k, y, j, etc.

LOL! Just make sure you wear gloves when you make it. You don't want any of those pesky fingerprints on the sticky side of the letter to show up as forensic evidence! 

DH thought I was totally nuts when I vetoed several of his name suggestions for our DD because they contained too many letters, too many vowels or too many duplicate letters (i.e. Savannah, Hannah, Isabella, Madeline, etc.) I totally pulled the scrapper card on him!

Maybe the answer is for everyone who loves sticker letters to create a round robin of sorts with other like minded scrappers. You'd put all of your half used sheets of stickers in a box and send them to the first person on the list. That person takes out what they want and adds their own half used, unloved letter stickers to the box and sends it on to the next person who takes what they can use, adds their own and sends it on. Eventually it ends up back with the first person and they can go through the box once more to see if there is anything new in there that they want, and the cycle can either continue at that point to anyone who wants to stay on the list, or what's left can be tossed or donated. Just a thought! Maybe between several people's leftovers, something useful could be cobbled.
