I've lately seen a few commercials with a screaming goat. Is it supposed to be funny? I don't get it.

It's not just Geico. Discover card just recut a commercial so there's a screaming goat in it. Then there's the Sprint commercial too.
I think it might be a YouTube thing. Not sure, though.

Screaming baby goats are especially funny. I like to show screaming goat videos in class when I feel like I need to scream. Quite therapeutic.

Yes, those are the Sprint commercials we are getting. I haven't seen a screaming goat Sprint commercial, but the dancing narwhals come on several times per evening. |

It's not just Geico. Discover card just recut a commercial so there's a screaming goat in it. Then there's the Sprint commercial too. I think it might be a YouTube thing. Not sure, though. After being subjected to it enough times, it becomes an earworm. "Narwhals, narwhals swimming in the ocean, causing a commotion...."  L ETA: For some reason, marketing 'experts' think this kind of things brings in the buyers. But I honestly couldn't tell you who that commercial is for, so the point is totally lost on me. Plus, I HATE whomever it is because of the earworm thing. |

Love the screaming goats. But my favorite all time commercials are the Cosmopolitan Hotel commercials. I could watch those all day. Such style!

I think they're kinda funny. My favorite part is when the coworker wants to throw down w/the goat and her fellow employees are gettin' ready to hold her back. Cracks me up . . .

AFV had an video with the goat and I thought that was the inspiration for the commercials.
We FF through the commercials. Have not noticed a narwhale in this market.

The first time I saw a screaming goat on the Sprint commercial, I laughed. I chuckled every time I saw it. Then they changed it so the goat screams more than once.  Then Discover card changed their commercial to have the screaming goat instead of the crowd yelling "surprise!" Now they're annoying. And the narwhals? It'd be too soon if I see that one again. That reminds me of the strange YouTube videos my boys watch sometimes. |
