I have a feeling I might have to start worrying about this soon... Do you bleach? Wax? Shave? I have an epilator for my legs-has anyone used one on their face?

Bleach is the least invasive so definitely start with that. If needs be wax or threading for a temp fix. I'd never shave my face.

I tweeze. Don't have a lot, but when I do get one, I pluck that sucker right away!
Bad thing is sometimes I don't see them until I look in the mirror OUTSIDE. ACK!!

Wax and tweeze those suckers. I don't know about an epilator, but I might be worried about it pulling at the skin too hard.

Do not shave, you will regret that.
I have chin hair now that I have done the menopause thing. But they usually show one or two at a time and I pluck them. If they were more numerous I would wax or thread.
Mine arrive as either black or white and both are noticeable so I wouldn't bother trying the bleach thing.

Use Nair on my upper lip, and pluck those chin hairs because they're widely spaced and (unfortunately) wiry enough to grab.

Wax. I'm working with an esthetician right now. I don't have a lot, but I have enough that I'm horrified when they grow in. She just had me get a 2 weeks' growth so she could wax all of them at once and I could barely make it the 2 weeks. I spent the last week with my hand under my chin like a bad glamour shot:

I use a Tinkle on my upper lip because my skin is extremely sensitive. My lip will break out and get rashy even after threading! I can't wax or use Nair or anything. The Tinkle does a great job. For the occasional chin whisker, I just pluck it with a tweezer.

I ask because when a hair is removed there's a tiny blob of a sticky jelly-like substance that surrounds the root which is often left on the skin's surface and that will attract bacteria. Also touching the skin with hands that perhaps aren't scrupulously clean will do the same thing and the skin is vulnerable at that point obviously. Just thinking aloud

I pluck and pluck and then I pluck some more. Since I am down to one damaged ovary, I could almost have a goatee if I didn't pluck almost every day

I have a magnifying mirror by a window in my office and check every couple of days and tweeze. I have made dh and dd promise to help me when I am old and blind.

I wax those suckers! I go every 4 weeks. I can't stand facial hair and I am not wasting my time trying to pluck individually. I do my lip every 4 weeks, my chin whenever I need it and my eyebrows every other lip visit. As i have gotten older it has gotten worse!

I keep a pair of tweezers in my car for that very reason! LOL....My son volunteers for a horse riding came for special needs children, so I end up sitting in the parking lot for three hours after work waiting for him (it's a 30 minute road trip each way, so save gas and time), and that's the best time for me to attack my chin hair and my eyebrows LOL....

I used to bleach, but since having a metabolic disorder and probably from just getting older, even the fine blonde hair on my face has thickened to the point where I just had a LOT of bleached blonde facial hair and it looked weird. Tried waxing of various types but it makes my skin break out. Tried using the foofy little shavers from Sally Beauty Supply that were recommended in a facial shaving YouTube but they aren't that sharp and didn't do a great job. Started using the same type of razor I use to shave my legs and I am beyond happy with the results; I should have done it years ago. The few coarse dark hairs I pluck. I shave dry, in the direction of hair growth. Hair does NOT grow in coarser, darker or thicker. Skin feels smooth, and as an added bonus, it exfoliates the top layer of your skin.

My skin is really sensitive as well and waxing broke me out. I still have been getting my brows waxed but stopped with my chin and lip. I have so much peach fuzz (blond at this point thankfully) that whenever I have it waxed there's always a clear starting and stopping point - if that makes sense. My good friend that did my brows this last time said she has switched over to having her own threaded and that's what I'm going to do next time. I've heard that it hurts like the dickens but if it works it'll be worth it.
I get a couple of dark, coarse chin and jawline hairs and I pluck those.
I have used the Tinkle (that just sounds weird) with some success but want to try threading before I settle.

Brows? I get them threaded and maintain them with tweezers as long as I remember to keep on top of it. Then let them go until I can't stand it anymore and go back to the threading salon.
Upper lip/MsStache? there's only a small amount of pale fine hair on each side, so unless the threading lady asks if I want them done for a couple bucks more, I don't bother with it.
Random bristly chin hairs? I pluck 'em as I notice 'em. And they're white, which is kind of weird. But that makes them really easy to spot.
All that fine, downy, almost transparent peach fuzz hair that grows everywhere? I leave it be. I had a full-face threading once because a friend swore that it would make my mineral makeup look absolutely flawless afterwards. But it left me with major irritation and my makeup didn't look a bit different once the flare-up went away. $45 down the drain.

I just shave my chin/jawline daily- I have PCOS and am peri-menopausal so there's a bit more than tweezing can handle

Yeah, my skin is apparently too sensitive to handle the full-face threading. My friend would get it regularly without any issues so I never thought it would be a problem. But within a half hour of leaving the salon, I started to get red and itchy. The next morning I had irritation and bumps everywhere and thought I was going to have to go to a dermatologist. I ended up taking a Benadryl and using some cortisone cream on it and it went away over the course of that day and night.

I have peachfuzz on near my jawline. I don't notice it till it starts catching my face powder. I've shaved it a few times with a dry razor and that seems to keep it under control for quite awhile.

facial hair (on women). What do you do about it? Cry. A lot. But seriously, I don't have a great solution but will be checking this thread out.

The Tinkle works great and if I use a bit of cream first there is no irritation at all.
