So am I to assume that one cannot just open an account and purchase SB supplies from ACOT, but must be referred by someone who already has an account in order to spend money? Just curious, 'cause it sounds weird!

Just curious, 'cause it sounds weird! No, you can shop like at any other store. They just offer the chance for referrals. Kind of like my dentist. No limit on who can go be a new patient, but if I send them in with a referral form, I get a $25 target card. |
