Are you saying my thermometer is going to react in a positive way to my clocks. Oh, how I hope you are right.

While I'm glad that it will be lighter later, it's gonna suck being dark again when I get up and leave for work.

Good! My dog will really appreciate it, I walk him much longer when it is lighter out in the evenings.

Thanks, I Love Buble, 'cause I hadn't thought of a single positive to it. Dogs and their walkers will rejoice in the longer lasting daylight.

Could we just not? I'm so sick of that lunacy. Leave the clocks alone!

I'm looking forward to the longer evenings. It's just barely light when I drive to work now, so I don't think that darkness in the morning will affect me beyond the first day or two. Unfortunately, Saturday will be kind of a late night, and I have to be somewhere early on Sunday, so that may be tough - fortunately, I can nap where I am going (and no, it's not church! LOL)

We have to wait until March 29th to put our time forward in the UK Yes, but I'm already happy that I go to work in the light and come home in the light (and that seemed to be such a swift transition this year) so I'm OK What I'm REALLY looking forward to is the nice and warm Easter that we're being promised

My 5:30 morning workout is going to be a serious bitch. Yes, it will be and next week it is still supposed to be cold in the GTA. Getting a bit warmer today & freezing rain tomorrow and maybe +1 and then back down early next week.
I hope it is decent weather during March Break for the kids who aren't going south.

Good to know. I thought Daylight Savings was in April. I better make a note so I don't miss any TV shows.

If DST work why do we go back in October? Can't we just pick ST or DST and do it year round? There is no way in hell I would move to Saskatchewan. They are year round something.

Lord. Time is an arbitrary construct anyway but I H.A.T.E. the change. Find a time "someone" likes and just F.....g leave it alone.

Eff you daylight savings time!!!! I do not understand having jet lag forced upon us year after year. Pick a flipping time and stick with it.

As long as it still exists, bring it on! I so much prefer later daylight!!! Now if only the weather gets itself sorted out. Three storms this week alone!!!! And lots of ice...so, so, so tired of it. More so this year than usual.

I was surprised to hear about it this morning on the radio. I'm excited for it though. DH and I like to go geocaching and the longer daylight means we can stay out longer plus it's easier for his evening commute.

Although I do like having the light at the end of the day, I really wish they would go back to it being the first Sunday in April. There's just something about losing a whole hour when we still have less total daylight hours that really puts me out of whack for the better part of a week.

Seems as though they are suggesting it could be a snowy March first before a warm Easter....so don't put the boots away too soon! :grin:We had snow last night and there's a lot of ice around on cars and roads this morning - and that was a surprise!

Best day of the year for me. I LOVE that extra hour of daylight. I work with others though who grumble for weeks about the lost hour of sleep......
