My eyelids are droopy so if I use the liquid it takes forever for them to dry otherwise they smear all over. I can't tell you how many times I have had to redo them in the morning. If I use the pencil, it seems to wear off so quickly. Is there something you do to set your eyeliner? Problem seems to be getting worse.

If you want to stick with pencil get Rimmels Scandaleyes Waterproof eyeliner. Its got great pigmentation and it STAYS. I prefer the marker style eyeliner, but when my allergies are acting up, I use the Rimmel kohl. My favorite marker style, which dries almost instantly is MACS Penultimate. That's my everyday go to. So easy to use. Nyx does make a drugstore version, but I find the tip isn't a smooth.

For the "cateye" look, I use the Bobbi Brown gel liner. For everyday wear, I use Dior waterproof eyeliner. It does not budge and it has a really nice texture.

I'm in love with Stila smudgesticks and I set them with a matching eyeshadow brushed along the line.

For a stick/pencil type eyeliner, I use Smashbox.

Love the Rimmel gel eyeliner. Comes with a brush and works great! I also like the NYX eyeliner markers in both the fat and skinny kind. it dries pretty quick but make sure to shake it each time before using.

For my top lid, I use NYC liquid eyeliner. For the top & bottom water line, I use MAC's Fluidline in Blacktrac and smoke it out with a black shadow. No smear and I wear it sometimes for up to 15 hours a day.

I use the Chanel waterproof eyeliner pencil and I love it. Never smudges. Goes on perfectly and stays all day.

I use dark eye shadow (currently loving Blackheart from the UD Naked 3 palette) applied with a Bobbi Brown eyeliner brush.

leopardmama - your eyes are very pretty
I use stila for the top and my bottom are tattoo'd - for some reason the bottom liner would always fade or seem to run and I got tired of it so I had them tattoo and I love it

I don't even own eyeliner. I use a lining brush and a dark shadow to line my upper lids... Usually a dark brown or dark grey. I dampen the brush a bit when applying and it stays well.

I just started using the BADgal waterproof liner by Benefit. It has mixed reviews, but on me it stays on until I take it off.

i've always had hooded eyelids and super oily too! the only eyeliner i can use that does not smudge or transfer to my upper lid is Sonia Kushuk liquid eyeliner. I have not had luck with UD eye primer or UD 24/7 eyeliner pencil. Good Luck!

Gel eyeliner really lasts all day long. I recommend Bobbi Brown or Tarte.

Lorac eye primer, and then Physicians Formula gel eyeliner. They don't make it anymore though, :-( so I'm in search of a new one too. Love gel eyeliners.

I use the Rimmel waterproof. It's the only drugstore brand I use for any of my makeup needs, but everytime I try a high end brand of eyeliner, I hate it!

MAC waterproof is what I have always used. For me. it has worked great for 10 or more years. I wear mascara only now. It's easy enough to put on and takes just a second.

For pencils Urban Decay 24/7 they are AMAZING. One of my eyes waters heaps and these still stay on. Or if you prefer gel liners Inglot makes a wonderful one.

The gel eyeliner in a pot is the type that you need. It takes a little practice to put on, but that type of product does not smear and generally wears like iron. I have the Bobbi Brown, but TBH, I also have one of the Maybelline kind, and it wears equally well.

I use a Mac powdered eyeshadow with this small eyeliner brush they have. It is the only way I can wear eyeliner and have it come out semi-decently. I suck at using an eyeliner pencil and I am terrible with liquid eyeliner too. The powdered eyeshadow prevents me from looking like a smudged mess.
