In a little bit, it's going to be some apple cinnamon crisps from WW and a tablespoon of honey pecan philly cream cheese (it is soooo delicious. I have to figure out how to make it into mini cheesecakes. LOL.)

my new favorite is roasted sweet potatoes and Brussels sprouts that are tossed in a coconut oil, maple syrup, chili powder glaze prior to roasting. Soooooo good. Sounds weird, but that's what I'm snacking on.

My daughter's former boyfriend is over and they and my other daughter are watching movies, so my girls sent me to the store for a whole lot of junk food! They requested cookies, donuts, Doritos, etc.

In no time at all I'll be enjoying a generous slice of pecan pie. I was stressed out yesterday, and I bake when I'm stressed!

We got back from vacation last night and haven't hit the store yet to restock groceries so the pickins' are a bit slim. I got hungry and realized DH had the car so I started in on some caschews/M&M mix I made for the trip that was leftover.

Haribo Gummy Bears
For dinner I had a turkey salad sandwich on English toasting bread that my dh found at Fresh Market.
SuperTarget has the new Cooking Light precooked packaged meats. I bought the roasted turkey breast and the sirloin.
The turkey is really good--it's actual turkey breast, not "pressed" turkey meat like you get in the deli.
I also added a bit of fresh lemon juice to my mix of mayo, turkey and sweet pickle relish. YUM. You can't tell that it's lemon juice, but the acidity cuts through the richness of the mayo and turkey and makes it so much more flavourful. I made about a cup of turkey salad and used about a tablespoon of lemon juice.
