Today has been absolutely disasterous. I can't even begin. does anyone know who can actually help me at a hospital? I need to talk about costs and also the completely horrific lack of communication between teams here. I feel so defeated. I'm so sorry I think I'd start with the Director of Nursing for the lack of communication and the business office for costs. You're in my prayers!

You have a lot on your plate. Ask friends and family for help. I wish someone had given me the same advice back in the day.
Hope your husband is on the mend and home soon. Good luck with finals.

I'm so sorry. I was hoping things were getting better for you today.
Contact the hospital's Patient Advocate. They should be able to help or get you in touch with whomever you need to speak to to get your DH's care in order.
Deep breath. You've got this.

There is usually a patient advocate, too. Meanwhile, you can start w/the charge nurse and see if she/he can help you navigate the murky waters and direct you to the right people. A good nurse will be so helpful in this instance. Red tape is the last thing you need right now. Grrrrr.

thank you everyone. I started just talking to anyone and everyone. I think I made some headway, but I'm too tired to actually assess. I will update later. I have no time in the next couple of days though...

Sending you [[Hugs]] Grad school can be tough when family members/loved ones are not doing well. You will get through it! Just do the presentation and then go take care of whatever else is going on. I am glad to see that other family members have stepped up. Don't be afraid to ask for extra help if you need it from them. Contact a Patient Advocate or Case Manager. They can both help you get started.
