Yes. I was a candy stripper in high school and they taught us as part of our orientation. Doesn't mean this lazy girl does it, but I *know* how. A Candy Stripper?!!

Yes, I am a nurse. However, since I am a NICU nurse I am much better at swaddling than changing sheets.

Yup. Learned it in nursing school many years ago. I think I might have learned it when I was a camper at sleep away camp too. We had daily inspections after making our beds. I do not use them at home; hate the tight feeling on my feet.

I don't, but I don't need to since I don't make my bed!! Ever! And when I go to hotels I immediately pull the sheets out since I hate when sheets are all tucked in at the foot of the bed.

I have a duvet cover and no top sheet. They give me nightmares of choking me.

Yes, I do, but I haven't bothered with them since I was a kid.
Both of my boys have foot boards which make it tricky and they make their own beds, so I don't even ask them to try.
And on my bed, the quilt covers the fact that the sheet isn't tucked it, so I let it go. I want all of my sheets and blankets completey untucked at night, so it seems silly to take the time to tuck them in tight during the day.

I know how, but I don't make my bed up that way. When I change the sheets, it is tucked in across the bottom, but that is it. I can't stand to be pinned down.

Well, I would love to blame it on autocorrect, but the facts are it was more me not paying attention...although, I admit as far as getting things wrong, it is pretty funny.

Yes. My mom was a nurse so when she taught me how to change sheets making hospital corners was part of the lesson. We did a modified version, though. We didn't tuck in the sheet all along the side.

My dh mom was a nurse so when he actually helps me change the sheets he does his side all nice and perfect. Me, I just lift the corner of the mattress and shove them in there!

Yes, learned it in nursing school. BUT it is really unhealthy because the sheets and blankets being tucked in so tight weigh down a patient's feet. But on the other hand It is important tho to get out all the wrinkles. Wrinkles can aggravate spots where bed sores are starting. I had a pysco teacher that would rip a bed apart if it was not exact. She even would go nuts if you didn't get it right when there was a sheet lifter on the bottom of the bed. Totally forgot about putting the lifters on! I never liked them because they would always get wrinkled no matter how many times it was smoothed out and leave marks on the patient.

My grandma taught me when I was little. I have always made my bed that way but I do not tuck the sides in.

No idea. I'm 50 and even before I got married my mum used fitted sheets on the bed base and then just a duvet with cover on the top. I can't remember the last time I used a sheet to go on top of my body.

Yes, my dad taught us all but I haven't made a bed this way since I left home.
Three out of four family members prefer not to have a top sheet on the bed anyway.

As nice as a bed looks with the sheets tucked in like that I'm lazy and don't have time for that. Also, being short and having a queen size bed the mattress is kind of awkward to lift so I just cram the sheets under.

I do know how (I used to work at a nursing home) but I don't do it at home. It hurts my toes to have the sheets tucked in so tight.

I have the knowledge but don't use it. I don't want my sheets/blanket tucked in at all. DH tucks his end part in, but mine is hanging down the end of the bed.

Couldn't graduate Navy boot camp if I couldn't make a regulation bed to include. Folding down exactly 6 inches of the top sheet. Of course my mom and dad made us make the bed regulation style when growing up. Long Navy tradition in this family. Now the bottom gets tucked and the corner news are made, but I leave the sides untucked.

Can't watch the video at work but 40 years ago worked in hospitals and learned the hospital corners. DH still can't get it right and I am so OCD about them being right.

Yes, I learned it in nursing school. But the first thing I'd do when I got a patient is loosen up the tuck at the bottom, too tight on the feet and we did a lot of pedal pulse/edema checks so it wasn't practical to have them tucked in tightly.
At home, I keep the bottom sheet tucked and a small corner at the edges but not the sides.

No, I don't. My mom tried teaching a few times when I was younger (she worked in a hospital after she finished college), but it never stuck in my head.
DD#1's boyfriend can, though- when DD and I visited him and his family I stayed in his room and he changed the sheets when we arrived. They stayed tucked the whole time I was there.
