If the paper were still nice and flat and undamaged, it wouldn't bother me. I keep all my paper in a 12x12 paper box so I'd just stick it in there to transport.

Another one who would be bugged by it. Let us know what happens if you make a complaint.

If I could use the paper the way it was meant to be used, I would not complain, nor would I care. Binder clips, rubber bands, plastic freezer bags, even Tupperware, are all good solutions (and I would use the last two even if the rubber adhesive was intact, just to protect the paper). I would certainly not use some faux OCD excuse, since that's an actual diagnosis and this situation is...well, you said it. Pretty trivial. When did I mention OCD, faux or otherwise? And what would I need an excuse for? I said I wasn't going to complain to Amazon. I said I knew it was trivial. It just bugged me. I know it's no big deal- but it bugged me. I was wondering if anyone else would have been bugged too. Nothing more.

I hope you had a good time, messed up pad notwithstanding.

I got some work done, and a whole lot of goofing off. Gypsy- I thought of that too. I checked it out though, and everything is there. I got an e-mail from Amazon today about rating the packaging. I noted what happened, in the response. Not a formal complaint, but a heads up.

I would lodge a complaint and ask for a percentage of the price to be refunded. Take a picture and send it along with the complaint. I agree! The sheer fact that they took the time to place a rubber band on it means they knew it was not right, that it was damaged, and yet they sent you inferior product anyway.
