One main shopping trip and one other mid-week for fresh milk and produce.

Whenever we run out of milk. So that's probably every 7-10 days. If we run out of other things, we usually have something else that we can substitute with. There's not really a good substitute for milk though .

Does driving my daughter back & forth to work count!? She's a cashier at our grocery store. But normally I do a big shop once a week then probably do 1-2 quick trips during the week. Depends on how organized I was the first time round.

The goal is once but usually twice. One big trip and then a second trip Later in the week for items I forgot, or now sound good, or one of the kids didn't tell me they volunteer to bring somewhere...

We go to the grocery store on Saturday, and Sunday we go to Target for the cleaning and paper products. IF I have to, I will run to a store during the week if I really need something.

Daily. My DH likes it this way and I HATE it. He gives me the excuse "I don't know what I will want to eat from one day to the next". We usually eat once a day but on the rare occasions we eat twice we make two trips in one day.
I remember once we woke up and wanted breakfast so we went for eggs and such...1pm rolls around and he wanted lunch..back to the store. Dinner rolls around and it was kinda a late dinner but we went back to the store for that. Granted we were both off work that day to go back and forth but I just hated it.

Hats off to you, I don't know how you handle this. I try for the regular grocery store once a week. Pick up a few things mid-week if absolutely needed. Costco about every month and a half. Winco every couple months or so for bulk shopping.

Every day. Partially because I don't always plan ahead and partially because my kids won't stop eating. We received a hand-written, personally signed Christmas card from the grocery store last year. I think maybe we go too often.

I work full time, so once per week, but I might hit more than one store - regular grocery store and fruit market (that also sells lunchmeat and fresh meat) or Costco.

Once a week usually. The only other times we go is if there is something I need that the regular store doesn't carry, or we decide to go to trader joes for a couple of things. That only happens about once every 2-3 months though.

Once. My husband and i go on Saturday afternoons after we have lunch out. We do the planning while we eat. Grocery shopping is such a waste of time that I hate going more than once. It makes me so mad if they don't have everything we need for the week and i have to go again. Since we plan ahead and stick to the list, we don't end up with much waste. We rarely even have enough left overs for lunch.

If that is the way he rolls, that is his choice, but I sure as heck wouldn't be going to the store with him. I would go grocery shopping for the week like usual and cook dinner that I had planned, he could eat it or not. If he wanted something different he could cook for himself. Like I told my kids when they were home, dinner is such and such, you can eat it or not, but that is what I am fixing. You want something else, you can take care of it.

The way he works though he may not be home at all durning the day or night so I bring him food a lot of the times. He does cook though for himself if I'm not home and he also will go to the store when I'm not.

We go to Costco for most things once about every week and a half to two weeks, and I go to the grocery store maybe once every 4-6 weeks to pick up the few things that we don't want to buy in bulk or specific brands that Costco doesn't sell.

Once every 2-3 weeks. Grocery runs for more produce at least once a week.

About 4 times a week. I am not good at menu planning like I used to be! I also don't like to defrost meat (because I cook the sides and the middle is still frozen) so I have to go every couple of days to get meat. But we have a grocery store over a mile away and it's great. A little expensive (just a little). But they always have lots of lanes open think the opposite of the lane situation at Walmart!) and great customer service. So it's very convenient to go to.

Once at most. Less if I can help it. I hate the grocery store more than almost anything else. As far as chores go I would rather scrub toilets than grocery shop. Me too! My least favorite chores are those that involve food. Planning meals, grocery shopping, cooking, cleaning up. But I can't get my act together to plan meals so I have to go a lot. And I have three girls, so they eat the food faster than I can bring it in (teenagers!!).
Funny, but I can go to Costco and Target every other day and love it!

Once, but I'll run into Costco when I get gas, so I guess twice.
