I was talking on the "what for dinner" thread about this burger stuffer thing I got as a joke. We tried it and really like it.
What "as seen on tv" things have you tried and liked??
Last summer we tried the magnetic screen door thing. It worked great on our french doors but not so great if people were going in and out a bunch.

I just bought a one second slicer and have used it for a few things. So far so good. Was pleasantly surprised.

"as seen on tv" is how I got my foodsaver vacuum thingamajig... years ago-- I actually sat thru a 30 minute infomercial about it, and ordered it from the TV show!! LOL!! other than that, I think I bought a workout series called The Firm-- DVDs, a weight bar, two heights of steps, all the trimmings. And most of the DVDs still have their cellophane wrapping on.

oh, yeah-- the Snuggie!! I got it for Christmas sort of as a gag gift, but I really do like it for lounging on the couch. The cats love it, too!!

We tried the burger thing and didn't like it.
Ped egg - had one, loved it, lost it. Just haven't gotten around to buying another one so maybe it wasn't all that loved.
I know there have been others but I'm drawing a blank on them. I have never ordered them from TV, always waited for them to show up in Walgreens or WalMart.

We really like the potato bag where you can put 4 potatoes in the microwave to bake them. Works really well!

Last summer we tried the magnetic screen door thing. It worked great on our french doors but not so great if people were going in and out a bunch. We tried this at our last house and it was on the back door of our current place, and they were both awful and not helpful in the least. It also took the paint off the the back door frame of the current house. Not impressed.

Ped Egg but from way back I bought the Ronco Showtime Rotisserie. When my DH was alive we used it all the time. We even wore one out and immediately ordered a replacement. Now it sits in my pantry unloved, it's just not worth the effort cooking just for me

Now it sits in my pantry unloved, it's just not worth the effort cooking just for me I still use my Ronco Rotisserie regularly. Now that my boys are teens I rotisserie two chickens at a time! It is also one of my favorite ways to cook turkey. Great product. My recent As Seen product is the Spicy Shelf. I have two in my spice cabinet and they have changed my cooking life! I still use my Ped Egg too. I also really like that heel stick - the balm one.

The microwave ramen noodle cooker works well. MIL bought both DS and DD one for Christmas. Although it doesn't cook that much faster than on the stove-top, it is convenient. DD uses hers all the time, but she doesn't have access to a stove at the dorms. She has been known to carry her cooked ramen with her when she is in a hurry. DS still insists on boiling the water/noodles on top of the stove.

Elaine-what is the spicy shelf? I have two round plastic spin around things that my spice bottles sit on and it's such a hassle every night when cooking to find my spices.

I agree about the Vidalia Chop Wizard - works great and I use it a lot. Another great "As Seen On TV" product is Pink Armor Nel GelI believe I purchased it at Walgreens or CVS (can't remember which) for about $10. That stuff is amazing!! Makes my nails grow quickly and they are hard and strong!

We got the Yoshi Blade ceramic knife at CVS. It is an excellent knife for $20.
My daughter is dying to get Ice Cream Magic but the reviews on Amazon are dismal.

Debbie, above is the box and below is my actual spice cabinet with two set up side-by-side. I love cooking with spices, and so have many, yet have always hated how hard it was to find what I wanted in my spice cupboard and how others would come raining down each time I went for a spice, until these spicy shelves!

Love the chop wizard! Use it all the time. My sister hates hers. She does not like how hard it is to clean.

I have thick hair and I fell for the Air Curler. Holy cow. It works like a charm! I can't see it working for thin hair, but mine looks better air curled than with a curing iron. It broke though so there's that...

Sharlag, only you would ask about microwaving naked potatoes! The potato bag keeps them fluffy and not rubbery like when you typically cook them in the microwave.

I love love LOVE my space saver bags. WE have guests a lot so I have a lot of extra pillows and sheets. I bag whole sets and they take very little room and then pop right out ready to go.

Ped Egg but from way back I bought the Ronco Showtime Rotisserie. When my DH was alive we used it all the time. We even wore one out and immediately ordered a replacement. Now it sits in my pantry unloved, it's just not worth the effort cooking just for me I HAD to have one so DH got me one from Macys. My problem with it is it smells up the house with whatever I'm roasting ~ and not in a good way. And it's too much trouble to lug it outside and back in to clean. So like yours it sits in the pantry.
