When I am on the highway, I always use the cruise control. It pisses me off to no end to be behind cars on the highway who don't use it. There is nothing worse than a game of leap frog with some asshole who speeds up then slows down then speeds up then slows down. Plus, the brake lights flash when you hit the brake to take off the cruise control, giving the people behind you an indicator that you are slowing down. It is mighty dangerous to be behind someone on the highway who decides to slow down when you are traveling 70 miles an hour or above by just taking their foot off the gas giving no indication they are slowing down. You don't have to tap the brakes to turn it off, there is a button to do that without turning the brake lights on. I actually prefer to not see the brake tap, there is nothing worse than seeing someone hit the brakes causing a chain reaction down the highway with people thinking there is something going on.

I use it all the time when driving on the interstate. I don't bother when it's a short distance like the 10 miles to town.

I have it and have never used it. Dh uses it if he's driving my car. I kind of don't trust it although I can't explain why I feel the same way. DH uses it every chance he gets. This is me too.

I prefer to drive with the flow of traffic than use cruise control. It the interstate is not busy, traffic is flowing 5-10 mph faster than the speed limit and it is pretty easy to see which cars are on cruise control.

I always used it with my old car. My drive to work is just about completely highway driving. My car now doesn't have it. I miss cruise control.

I tried it once and didn't like it. My husband uses it on the highway.
