We're getting bad weather and are under a tornado watch. Not a warning, just a watch. We don't get network TV or cable. We just have Netflix. Is there a way to watch the news or weather report for our area on my iPad? The local news stations only have live broadcasts online during regularly scheduled times from what I can tell.
I have an emergency radio, and I have a radar app. Is that all I can do?

It's odd to me that your local stations don't have a weather page/weather tab where they would be doing "stormwatch" or "WeatherReady" or something like that. Ours will put up the weather broadcast when they launch into emergency coverage.
If you go to weather.gov, you can get the local warnings in text format and see the radar in motion, plus the forecast.

Our local stations have apps for news and weather. Ours have apps too, but the "live" button pops up a box that says it's only available during regular broadcast times. I'm in the greater Houston area. If anyone knows what app I need or how to do this, please let me know. Thanks.
