I used Trumpet Voluntary for the processional music and Handel's Water Music for the recessional. We used Trumpet Voluntary as well for my walk up the aisle. We had a piper for our trip down the aisle and out of the church. DH is from Scotland.

Traditional for the walk in but we walked out to Nat King Cole's "Orange Colored Sky". When we were announced at our reception our DJ did a mash up of "Rock n Roll Part 2" by Gary Glitter and "How Forever Feels" by Kenny Chesney. It sounds odd but it worked! (DH is a huge hockey fan hence the Gary Glitter music)

Truthfully, I have no idea. We were married outside, and didn't have anything planned- at the very last minute, a college friend called and offered to play her violin. I have no clue what she played! I never asked, she never offered but it was beautiful- she's very talented. It was a precious gift!

"Spring" from Vivaldi's Four Seasons. For the recessional we played "Morning Ride" from the Princess Bride soundtrack.

Purcell's Trumpet Tune, played by a brass quartet at an outdoor ceremony. Can't remember the recessional. . .

Trumpet Voluntary, with one of the groomsmen playing the trumpet. Bridesmaids walked to Canon in D, Mothers to Jesu Joy. I forget what the recessional at the end was.

I'm guessing our's was traditional, but I truly do not remember. It was 14 years ago and there is a lot I don't remember. I think I was in a daze or haze or something. LOL

Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring. Our recessional was Ode to Joy. Both played on the organ. Me too! Me three!

String Quartet - Debussy "Clair de Lune". The recessional was Vivaldi - Spring (I think, haha) and we had "I'm Yours" for our signing. I'm Yours was beautiful in strings.
Gilly.

We were piped in & out, but I don't remember the names of the songs. We were married in a small chapel, so the piper played outside but was heard inside.

The instrumental opening of Love Song by Tesla, played by my cousin and his friend on guitars. We walked out to Linus and Lucy.

We had an aisle but it wasn't in a church - Come to Me by the Goo Goo Dolls was the song we picked.

I used Pachelbel Canon in D played by a violinist. I think this is what we used... we had a celtic group, harpist, bodhran, and flutist.

I used Pachelbel Canon in D played by a violinist. We played this as a recording. Such a beautiful song. I get a little emotional when I hear it now.

Story book love, the theme song from the princess bride. The instrumental version. My friends recognized it immediately, but that's why they're my friends

No music was allowed. I knelled across an altar from my husband and we were told what to say to each other.
