Truthfully I don't mind either one. In my neck of the woods there are seasons, where just before you can't stand the weather another minute the seasons change (although this winter almost got the best of me...hahaha). I love that. I do think it is easier for me to deal with the extreme cold over the extreme heat. I can add covers/blankets, clothes, etc. but I don't have AC so it is harder to cool down.

I hate Winter, I hate snow, ice, frost and anything else that has the potential to make me fall on my arse. I hate dressing in layers, Winter clothes and boots...ack! I hate being cold! I love Summer, everything about it just makes me happy

I moved from NJ to GA because it's warm down here! I would get cold in October and stay cold until April. Hated it. Even with blankets and sweaters, my bones got cold. I love being warm - don't like the AC - and am happy in the 90s. I also hated the gray sky - most of the winter, it's so dreary looking in NJ. Blue skies, warm weather and I'm a happy girl!
We do have cold here - and it makes me laugh what the locals call cold. I've worn my warmest jacket once in 4 winters here. Y'all can keep your snow up north!! lol

Heat of summer. I hate the cold, I hate the snow, I hate when everything is brown and dead. I thrive in the heat and sun.

I love living in a city with a relatively mild climate, thank you San Diego.

I prefer the heat. The heat does not cause me physical pain like the cold does.

I live in Seattle, so our summers and winters are pretty mild compared to a lot of the country. I'll take summer over winter every time! Long days, bright light...what could be better?!? Once it hits 85 or so though it can get pretty uncomfortable as very few places/homes have AC.

Still doing my best to find a home with AC though .

I hate being cold, I don't want to go outside when it's cold. You can only put on so many layers and then are still cold. Summer I can be out at night with no sweater. I spend so much time outside in the summertime, I love it!

cold of winter assuming i am still in los angeles. at least i can layer and my coats can stay light because, again, it's los angeles. the winter clothing we wear here is just for show and not for actual protection.

Definitely the cold. The humidity here makes me snakey! I'll quietly weather -20 in the winter just so that I can complain about the summer heat (I don't want to be that person who bitches about both).

Hmmm...
Can I just say that there is a darn good reason that I USED to live in Texas and NOW I live in Alaska?
LOL. Definitely a "cold" girl here.

I prefer the cold of winter. I can add more close to feel warmer. But when it's too hot I can't just strip!

We don't have much humidity here, so I prefer the heat of our summers. If I lived on the East Coast I would hate the summers.

I despise the heat with the passion of a million suns. Unfortunate for me, as I'm a native Floridian. I also can't handle cold temps much below 60, lol. So....there are really only about two weeks a year that I am truly happy with the weather. I stay inside the other 50 weeks. L

The cold of winter, hands down. I can be cold and somehow it just doesn't really bother me whereas when I'm hot I am so bothered by it I don't want to do anything and have no energy.

I just wish it was a springlike 65 degrees all year round. No snow, no scorching days. This. This is exactly what I want.

I'll take the cold, thank you. Summer heat means one long horrendous migraine for me. I just can't deal. I so wish that I could enjoy summer like normal people do. I love flower gardening and being in my yard but I just can't do it most days. Of course, I always take a vacation to somewhere nice and warm in the winter. California, Key West, etc. That helps me get through the brutal Michigan winters. I will admit that this winter was way too cold for me.

I used to love hot summers, but as I've gotten older I prefer cooler weather; however, I'll take heat over snow any day of the week. My idea of ideal weather year round is San Diego.

I can tolerate heat better than cold. Cold seeps right through me into my bones. I don't spend any more time out in the heat than necessary but it's easier to take in short doses than cold is.

I'm a fall and winter gal. I like the summer activities but I don't deal well with the heat. I might have a different answer though if I actually lived somewhere that suffered severe winters. Winters here are pretty mild.

I prefer the heat of summer, but only if I have ice cold air conditioning!

I'm a summer girl. I'll take the heat over the cold any day. Many years ago, an older woman told me people should only get to complain about either the hot summer OR the cold winter. You couldn't have it both ways. For some reason, I've remembered that ever since. I decided then and there I'd complain about the cold and love the heat!
This is me too. I thrive in summer and feel flat and blah during winter. You will NEVER hear me complaining about the heat. If the forecast is for a 40 C day (104 F) I am excited.

I prefer the cold to hot and especiallyhumidi! I hate air conditioners (we don't have central air). At least when you are cold you can add more layers, cuddle with your favorite person or blanket, light a fire and have a nice cup of tea...

I much prefer winter over summer, simply because I hate to be hot and sweaty. Of course, if I lost some of my fluff, I might feel differently!

Summer! Even though it doesn't get super cold here - I'm in Southern BC, so our climate is similar to Seattle, Washington - it does tend to be wet & rainy. I loathe the rain. We normally get snow at least once per season, but this year it was milder than normal. That said, it still rained a lot. Blech.
It is gorgeous & warm right now. We're a little worried the risk of a water shortage & forest fires, which is the only downside. It's definitely warmer than normal for May.
