I'm in for being a little frozen. I will do 50 layouts before buying anything, except for my Story and Stamp kit club.

I just went through two months worth of cc statements and I am so ashamed of what I have spent on scrapbooking stuff. It is ridiculous. I have unsubscribed to ally kit clubs and will rejoin one once I get some bills payed off. I had hubby go in and change all the passwords to my online shopping so I am not attempted in anyway and gave him my credit cards to keep the temptation away. I have been out of control. Now I need to stay home and use my stuff. Thus I need to change my routine and get out of the shopping mode. Good for you. It is hard to stop shopping once you get started. I don't shop online much, but I have several friends who have amassed lots of cc bills that way. My youngest is leaving for college and we need to outfit his room. I am already excited to start looking. Thankfully he is extremely practical and will be the voice of reason.

I am definitely decreasing my shopping. I am about to be on a strict budget soon due to changing jobs (becoming self employed). I have one more month with Hip Kit so will keep that for at least a month and will then reevaluate. I scrapbook a lot but apparently have still been buying more than I scrap. I have been de stashing and selling things in my etsy shop. I am using the funds from selling to offset my shopping. I am moving soon so also dont need to add more to move! All that to say, I will be following this thread and trying to keep my shopping to just my kit

I am getting double paychecks all summer. One regular and one retirement. I got the first retirement check mailed to the house. I drove it down to the credit union about 3 minutes after getting it. It started talking to me on the way there. Nope.

I will join you. I am at the tail end of organizing all my stuff and I have a lot of stuff. Now it is time to enjoy it and be creative.

How are you all doing with your freezes? I am still hanging in there...I've been tempted a few times. Luckily I have no LSS nearby.

I don't know why, but the past few days have been the toughest... Not that I want to buy anything specific, just want to buy. I think it's just a bad habit that I need to kick. I curb the urge by going to my desk and looking at all the lovely things I already have & want to use. I just hit 175 pages this year and want to keep going without buying. Keep up the good work, everyone! We're in it together

I have been great - but I'm broke so ya know... And I am swimming in unorganized supplies! BUT - a CONFESSION I had bought a hamper at TM and ended up returning it because it didn't fit where I wanted it. So I return it and naturally walk around.... cue the "trouble's coming" music.... I was fine until I saw the pink cutting mat - the big one you all have talked about! They only had one, still I resisted. I got home and couldn't stop thinking about it - cus I'm a weirdo. So I told myself if they still have it, it was meant to be. So I went back the next day when I got groceries (same parking lot)...and it was there - so I bought it I cheated, and I'm ok with it- it was less than the hamper - so I justifed it that way and it's a tool not a consumable So ya, I got it and I sort of tried to justify it, but who cares? It's big, it's pink, and it's mine!!!! Perhaps that wasn't a G-Rated description lol?

I have cut back alot, but still have bought a few things. I want to buy nothing!!!! It's so hard especially when you find an insane deal at clearance. My biggest place the past two weeks has been on etsy and with stickers for my planner. If I nick that I would cut out a whole bunch. Lord give me the strength!!!!

scrappyhappyshawnI agree, it's hard to pass up a deal! I'm not opening my "deal of the day" type emails. And I am not going into Tuesday Morning. One thing that helps me is to keep a wish list. I jot down what collection I think I must have. Then I just wait. More often than not, I don't end up buying it.
