We are spending a night on the strip in between visiting Zion and the Grand Canyon. We were thinking MGM or Caesar's but I'm not sure about the pool situation at either of those places. Obviously we aren't looking for a party pool or top optional. Any recommendations for which resort on the strip would be good for a family?

Ages? Ceasars is a little stuff for kids. MGM has party pools, but it also has other pools that families can use. Mandalay has a great pool,
The cheaper family friendly hotels cater to families...Excalibur or luxor

The kids are 12 & 14.
We don't want to be as far out as Excalibur and Luxor. Has anyone stayed in a renovated room at the Flamingo? That pool looks pretty good on Trip Advisor.
ETA: Or how about Paris?

Mandalay Bay has a great pool with a lazy river and a wave pool, and beach. The topless pool is completely separate. The MGM also has a nice pool with a lazy river. The Excalibur isn't quite as nice of a property, but is very family friendly, and has a couple of water slides. I'm not sure about Caesars Palace.

I stayed at Flamingo a couple years ago and the pool is considered family friendly, but I did not see a lot of families there.
I stayed at Mandalay Bay a couple weeks ago, they have an awesome pool with lazy river. I know you said you wanted to be a bit more central, but honestly, you can get around very easily.

My boys had an absolute BLAST when we stayed at Mandalay Bay. Their pool is by far the best in Vegas. Also, you are closer to the M&M store which is another favorite of the boys.

The flamingos pool is pretty. I was there during the Margaritaville party, so not really family time.
I believe one of their pools is 21 and older and there is not a slide.
I know you said strip, but golden nuggets pool is cool

I've stayed at the Montecarlo and Paris and both were family friendly as in I saw nothing questionable. The Paris pool is very dull though and nothing to write home about.

The pool at ballys is simple, but family friendly
