Heya stampers - hoping someone will be able to point me in the right direction! I'm looking for a dye ink that matches pretty close to Avery Elle's "Linen" pigment ink that came out earlier this year. It's a sort of pale creamy color that trends brighter/more golden than something like the "Antique Linen" distress ink (which has a sickly greenish undertone). It's one of the prettiest pigment inks I own, but dang, I want it in a dye ink too!
I've had my eye on Hero Arts' "Soft Vanilla" and Ranger's archival "Pale Ochre," but when I google image search, they seem a tad too dark. I have Memento's "Desert Sand" (too brown) and "Cantaloupe" (too dark/orange). And I hate to rely on images anyway; it's meant I have a pile of expensive ink that isn't really what I was looking for!
Anyone have any of these inks who can point me in the right direction? What's a good cream dye ink that's not too yellow/green/brown/orange/dark?

Papertrey Ink has a cream ink, Vintage Cream . I have the old formula and haven't used it in ages. Not sure about their new ink formulation.

PTI's cream (and its white, the fresh snow) are both pigment inks, reformulation of the other colors notwithstanding. Like white, I think cream is going to be super hard to find in a dye ink. They need an opacity that a dye ink just can't deliver.

You really shouldn't make color decisions for one medium based on a sample from a different medium. Judging colors on a monitor is very difficult. How it looks on a monitor is way different then how it looks on paper. How it looks on one piece of paper can be unacceptable on a different paper. I think not a whole lot different than makeup.

I second this ink -- I ordered all of the mini ink pad sets from Altenew because I wanted to try them first. Beautiful inks with great coverage. I hope they have more colors in the future!
