I'm going to change the subject here. To the peas that have curly hair, do you live in a humid area? Your curls are gorgeous! I need to know the secret! My curly hair frizzes the minute I walk out the door. I tried that Devagirl stuff, but I cannot even handle the smell. Mine is super curly too. I'd post a pic here, but due to the current theme, I'm hesitant!!! I live in FL and the humidity is in the 90% category. Mine stays super straight if I want it to (I never wear it curly anymore) or with loose curls if I use a curling iron. I threw out ALL of my hair products a few years ago and ONLY use shampoo/conditioner and then a handful of organic coconut oil. That's it! It stays unfrizzy/uncurly for days!! HTH.

Sam, I know Skybar and I have no doubt that she'd agree with what i've posted. yep and I so do agree with you! It'd be a vile, nasty pile on if it was about me. I was gonna post right after I read your post Lauren, then I thought I'd read some more before I did. Glad I did - it'll save me from posting again. That post would have also said that I agree with you and have no problem with you using me as an example.
I find peas that have no problem with this SP pic thing are no different than those who still support Hillary - or Bill - or DBO. While I don't agree with attacking her about it, I also don't see why one would be saying 'I have no problem with it' etc.
My first thought of the SP pic was 'that isn't her'. I find it very sad and weird that she did this.
btw Lauren, I saw the pic of you w/ Jackie. she sure is growing up and is just as pretty as ever. Time just flies on here with babies being born and growing up.

Wow! This thread was a long read. Very interesting!! I had Scrap hidden b/c she's been such a nasty person, but, boy, oh boy, this was interesting........ Many thoughts come to mind: I've been through a horrible couple of years in severe pain. I had surgery in March and I'm STILL recovering, so I'd never post a pic right now. Instead, I pointed out that my avatar *is* me, but a few years ago. After reading all of the crap on here, I'd be hesitant to post any pics!! But, if you're not feeling up to par, or you're going through a horrendous medical crisis, then post an older pic of yourself; not a fake pic from Google or Pinterest! And then don't outright lie about it!! Sorry, but Scrap called me out over silly things and then she did this? It doesn't seem like her. She's usually more calculating and bitchy to run away.
As a sidenote: Years ago on MySpace, people would ask me, "Is that really you???" I never thought that people would lie about their pics. I met my husband from MySpace. We were friends (nothing more) and when we finally got the chance to meet in person, he was shocked when he got out of his cab in Rockefeller Center to meet me. He said, "It IS you!!!!!!!!!" I couldn't understand it, but he told me that me met a few people who didn't look anything like their profile pic or other pics. Why lie??
BF: I still clearly recall the Sydney debacle. When she brought in the "facts" about her military guy and her medical woes, we all bought it. I think we became a little jaded after that one.

I really don't care if she shared a fake photo. But if you have a huge presence in an online community, and are well known for and have the persona of being very righteous, truthful, and accepting of everyone (all good qualities) why would you post something that could come back to bite you like that. It goes against everything that she "stands" for during her years of posting. I don't see glee in outing her, but instead just the repercussions of a bad decision. Just my opinion of course. hopefully that wasn't behind the 'outing'. Sorry I don't understand what you mean?

Well it's only fair since I called someone out that I post a photo too (And to be clear, there was no "motive" behind it - I wouldn't have said a word if she had posted it and not said any more, but she was actually answering questions as if it was her and honestly, it irked me because it's unfair to Peas who struggle to be comfortable with themselves).
Anyway, I got my hair cut today, so I'm going to change my avatar. Disclaimer, but not an excuse - no makeup and I've been super sick with h. pylori for the past couple of weeks (which is why I got my hair cut - once you've thrown up in your hair a few times, it's got to go)
Gray hair - don't care.
ETA: I don't know why I have a few stray strands that always want to fall right in front of my face when I take a photo.

This thread started out so fun and awesome and it is now exhausting. ![:(](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/mYSUyHtG9Jrcmm_ydVcK.jpg) I totally agree with you! Holy crap, I wasn't on here for a mere day and a half because of work, and I come back and there are 16 pages and most of it [although not all of it] is about someone being outed because of a supposedly fake photo? Come on, really, who cares? This started out as fun. Let's keep it that way. I'm going to go change my avatar to a photo of me because I don't have time to learn how to post photos properly!

burningfeather, the gray hair is awesome. Once my grays start filling out more I'll be embracing mine as well. I've actually seen that gray/silver hair is trending among kids. It makes me grin when I see an 18yr old kid rocking a head full of gray hair!

Okay, avatar changed. So, this is me with DH, a couple of years ago. I have since stopped colouring my hair, so hair is grayer now, but basically I look pretty much the same.

It's apparently a major process of stripping and coloring. I can't even imagine.

Thanks. I wasn't feeling it today to be honest. Like I said, I've been feeling pretty sick and today was the first day I felt okay, but I was in my pajamas until 1 and I got a text that my stylist would work me in at 1:45 (and I'm 30 minutes away) so I threw on a sundress, grabbed my sunglasses, and flew. No shower, no makeup. Thank goodness she had time to wash my hair too. There are really puffy and bloodshot eyes behind those glasses. I'm a Dove soap girl. I've never used any creams or cleansers other than Dove bar soap. I don't even moisturize and if I manage to wear makeup, I almost always go to bed with it on. I treat my skin pretty crappy but the super oily skin of my youth has finally paid off a little bit.

If you click on the 'reply' button, rather than quick reply then click 'add attachment' and follow through, you can upload any image stored on your computer without linking to a host site. There's an easy way to upload from a mobile too. It must be easy because I've done it . . . . I just can't remember right now! A thousands times this!!! Holy cow...I have been trying for days to post on this thread by uploading to photobucket first and could not get it to work. I just now read this and bam! Thanks gilly!
