I cooked and baked all weekend so today I'm eating leftovers. My grandsons stopped over just as I was sitting down to eat my turkey dinner last night and ate all the mashed potatoes and gravy so I'm going to make a sandwich with leftover turkey, stuffing and cranberry lime relish for lunch instead of the hot turkey sandwich I'd been planning on. They also each had a big bowl of homemade strawberry ice cream For dinner I'll have the rest of the pork stir fry. I wonder if the boys will be stopping over to have the lime curd ice cream I made last week What are having tonight?

Both dh and I have acupuncture today at separate times. So, dh eats lightly afterwards and we're both too relaxed to make a big meal. So, I'm going to make steamed rice and gyoza with fresh corn on the cob from our favorite farmer's market stall.

DS tried some marinated flank steak at a local store, so we bought that to grill tonight along with some boxed sesame ginger rice that should go well with the flank steak (or will just be horrible, as so many flavored boxed rices are!). Probably corn for a vegetable.

I have had my favorite roast in the crock pot since 9 a.m. The house smells SO good. Can't wait to dive into it tonight!

Pot roast, mashed potatoes, steamed broccoli and macaroni & cheese. Miss Lerin picked, I'm so happy that she's starting to ask for different food... we've been trying to get her to like pot roast since she was little and she finally likes it now!

I am going to make shish-ka-bobs, rice, and corn on the cob.
Today is my husbands birthday but he is stuck out of town on work. I am bummed he wont be here.
Good thing I hadn't made his birthday cake yet.

Sigh - your meals all sound delicious, and I am not even hungry. That's why I pop into this thread almost daily. I am also having leftover chicken paprikash and dumplings with veggies. DS #1 has band practice tonight. I need to buy a few things at Super Target - I have been waiting to make a big trip and have a 10 % coupon to be used by tomorrow. Plus my red card. Plus Cartwheel, clearance and any other deals I manage to find. I will be there for a while. And I agree, akathy, cute photo. Lisa

The day started off cold and gloomy, so I took some chili out of the freezer. The day turned out warm and not so gloomy, which I am happy about, but the dinner I planned is not very "summery". oops! We're having chili cornbread casserole, steamed broccoli and cauliflower, mixed berries, and some texas sheet cake I found in the freezer.

Garlic tofu over sticky rice and green beans. Thankfully it's a pretty quick meal which means I can tackle the 2 weeks worth pile of ironing I've been putting off starting.

Hamburger steaks w/sauteed onions, mushrooms & brown gravy, mashed potatoes, fresh corn, and some kind of chocolate/cherry heaven stuff I made... that I probably won't make again.

DH just took DS to pick up his new truck. I imagine they will be going on a long ride to see how it works after. I'm thinking that will include a stop for a meal somewhere. I just ate some leftover casserole so if they surprise me and return expecting a meal they will be getting sandwiches and fruit. Im lazy like that!

My Mom is visiting for DS's graduation. The kids requested she make chicken soup so soup it is. The weekend was cool and rainy. The sun came out this afternoon but it's still not warm.

We were going to grill, but it's been a dreary, wet day here... We're doing ravioli, garlic bread, and a salad instead.

I don't feel like cooking at all so it's a "raid the fridge" night. I've already eaten most of a half of a watermelon, yogurt, some caramel popcorn, and a spoonful of cake frosting. Good thing DH isn't here tonight..he'd nix that quick! Love the pic akathy!!

I'm making beef and broccoli in the crockpot. The beef is cooking now and it smells fabulous. When I come home from drivers Ed carpool, I will throw in the broccoli and make some rice. I'm looking forward to this.

I made a box of Zataran's Gumbo and threw some shrimp in there. With salad to make it a meal.
We had Cracker Barrel for a late breakfast so we were not entirely hungry.
