I'd trade you in. Unless you're a good cook. All bets are off for people who feed me. ;-D LOL!!! Guess we're getting divorced because I can't cook well...least I don't think. Well it was sure fun while it lasted!

I love how our threads always morph into these side conversations! Add me to the list that just couldn't get into Breaking Bad or Sons of Anarchy. I've only watched the first season of Orange Is The New Black. I really dislike Piper. My daughter just said to me today that she gets even more annoying in season 3. I really dislike all the female characters on Grey's but I still watch. :-p

I watched a little Breaking Bad when it had a marathon on and it wasn't bad, but I didn't get into it. I have not bothered to watch Orange is the New Black.
It is probably for the best. I didn't watch The Walking Dead until the fourth season and it sucked me right on it (thanks to this place (well the bucket, but you peas). I don't need another obsession.

I think it's time they paroled her so I don't have to watch her any more.

I love that time period and taught it in school. I kept watching the Tudors thinking no! I had to keep reminding myself it was a story. I like to fact check too, not here, but I am a bit skeptical of so many things I see and hear on television. My kids will often remind me not to argue with the television because they can't hear me. Wait! What? If TV's can't hear you, does that mean when I yell at politicians on TV that they can't really hear me? Does it make a difference whether they are on tv or in person? I don't think they listen either way.

Jumping into topic #1,456. OITNB sucked in Season 3 thanks to the pea who recommended Wentworth though.
If you liked Girls until she wrote that weird book you will love Broad City

Yeah, I just finished season 3 of Orange and I was not impressed. It never grabbed me and pulled me in like the first two. I also agree that Piper has become as annoying as nails on a chalkboard.

I agree on Wentworth, just started season 2. OITNB is okay, but I also agree Piper is the least interesting character/storyline/actor. I binge-watched Breaking Bad last summer after hesitating for so long because I did think it would glorify criminals. It did not, and I was really glad I finally watched it. Very well-written and acted. The end was gratifying. We binge-watched SOA over the winter, and that ended up being a complete waste of our time. Repetitive, gratuitous pile o' crap.

You have a baby, get busy, and miss a lot at the pod!!! All I have to add is that SOA is a fabulous show.

I stayed away for the many reasons people say they stay away. Then I watched it. I, too, was glad I watched it. DH refused to watch it with me. We are now watching it together. ETA: I haven't read this entire thread but I'm curious as to how it turned into a TV watching thread.

I mentioned that I Google everything (implying that it was not odd that someone would Google hand fasting and finding that picture) and that I am currently Googling the cast of OITNB because I just started watching it and most of the cast looks familiar. We've pretty much have been off topic since then, lol.
