What technique have you been wanting to try and haven’t?

This is silly, but I’ve never tried the print and cut on my Cameo!

Bokeh technique with inks. I really want to try it.
I also want to play with watercolors and modeling paste and my spectra noir pens. Too many things I want to try.
Oh and I bought some stencils I want to play with either with ink or paint.

Heat embossing.
I own a few embossing powders.
I bought a heat gun.
I have inks.
But.......
It falls under the messy category.
I want to. I really do. Just not yet.

I want to try using some distress inks watered down where you sort of sponge the color over cardstock with cellophane. Not sure if I'm describing it right.

Count me in for never having tried print & cut on my Cameo. And I even have some cute P & C designs, just never tried them out. (Well, for a long time after I got my Cameo we didn't have a working printer, but now that we have a nice new printer I haven't gotten around to trying it.)

Stamping. I have tried it is always a failure. I think someone who knows me summed it up by stating because I like a very clean image, and I just can't get it right. And I am not into coloring stamped images either. If I do stamp (on the rare occasion), I will stamp on a separate item and add it to whatever I am working on. Because inevitably, I will screw it up. I can even mess up a date stamp.

I want to get some clear embossing powder and try embossing over my distress inks. I don't know why that had never occurred to me to do until just recently.

Rusting powder! A friend is on a steampunk kick and her work is gorgeous, I must try some of the techniques.

It's so simple, it's silly, but paper tearing - like against the edge of a ruler... And foiling - I have foil, a laminator... Just need to actually do it... Oh, and I've had my Fuse tool for months now - I'd like to at least plug it in to make sure it works out...lol

Stencilling, foiling, embossing paste....all those seem very intimidated, even though I would do it on scrap paper for practice, still seems like something that would be difficult.

Another one for print and cut! I don't have a wide format printer and I think I'll screw it up

I have never machine stitched on a page. I'd have to drag my machine out of the closet and set it up.
I'd like to buy a mini sewing machine someday. I think I'll add it to my wishlist on Amazon...DD can tell DH to buy it for Christmas.

I can't think of a technique but I bought a bunch of Lindy's Stamp Gang paint and other stuff because I wanted to try something I saw in a video but now I have no idea what it was! I think I might have to go look that up!

Another one for print and cut! I don't have a wide format printer and I think I'll screw it up You don't have to have a wide format printer. You just set your paper size on your Cameo to 8 1/2 x 11. I love the print and cut feature. It was intimidating at first but I watched a couple of YouTube videos.

I'm a simple scrapper so haven't done many techniques. I'm a little curious about gesso.

Mixed media. I have a couple Faber Castell kits with lots of goodies to play with, including gelatos. That might be a good Sunday project. I guess I could also post this in the procrastination thread!

As a stamper/cardmaker, I'd love to try the faux silk technique.
Scrapbooking-wise, I'd like to use my stamps in my scrapbooking. Somehow I've never done that.
