I love snakes and I think that print is pretty. I think you should definitely decorate based on what makes you happy, and not worry about your guests being too scared to use the bathroom. It's just an illustration I have extremely bad arachnophobia... Crying, panic attacks, everything, if I saw a photo of a big spider in someone's bathroom, honestly I would just think "eww", but it would have no impact on if I felt comfortable using the bathroom or not. Everyone is different, and you can't make everyone happy, so decorate how you like!

I wouldnt hang it in my house, but I'd have no issue using your bathroom with the PRINT there.
Just don't keep the live models. Then I will run and shriek

Sorry don't like snakes. Don't know how many people like snakes, especially in the bathroom. BUT, if it makes you happy - your bathroom !

It wouldn't bother me, but I don't particularly care for it, but that's another story.

I hate snakes but wouldn't care about the print.
I also hate spiders but will watch nature programs about them on TV.

I actually think that snakes are kinda cool, as long as they are not anywhere close to me. And I like the print a lot. But I probably wouldn't hang it in a guest bathroom as so many folks are freaked out by snakes.

I am surprised how many say they wouldn't use the bathroom with it. It's an illustration and not the real thing. Not that I don't understand snake phobias, just didn't realize how far they go that an illustration would actually scare many. Human nature is an interesting thing.

I really dislike snakes but that print doesn't bother me too much. I wouldn't have it in my home but if I needed to use the bathroom and it was hanging in there I wouldn't run screaming.

Let's put it this way ... I read the other comments first before deciding whether to click on the link, and I can't make myself do it. For me: no sharks, no snakes, no time!

I have a snake phobia for real, stemming from a childhood incident. I'd still use the toilet if I had to go bad enough but even though it's just a drawing it would get my wheels turning to the tune of "Sometimes there are snakes in toilets." I'd have a hard time getting that out of my mind and would likely have snake dreams that night just like I probably will tonight because I got thinking about it. Damn! Lol. I know it's ridiculous and irrational but that's how my crazy mind works about snakes.

I don't have a fear of snakes and don't think it's scary because it's an illustration. Yet, I can understand why others might be freaked out. I wouldn't like an illustration of a clown in a bathroom but I could still do my business.

I don't like to think of snakes and toilets in the same place!
I wouldn't not use your restroom, it's just not art that I would hang there, or anywhere really.

I kind of like it. But I don't have any problem with snakes. On the other hand, I am not a fan of art in the bathroom because it's something else to dust.

Not that I don't understand snake phobias, just didn't realize how far they go that an illustration would actually scare many. Human nature is an interesting thing. I work with someone whose phobia of cats is that great that is she sees a book with a picture of a cat on the cover she cannot even touch it and has asked me to turn it over. ( I'm a librarian) She has sent books back from her class library (that I pick out for classes) because they are about cats.
I had a few funny overdue library book cat memes blown up A3 to remind the students to bring their books back and hesitated about displaying them , but did eventually. Her students just turned them around when she came in with them! I I once had an abandoned kitten- all 240 grams worth, which had fallen out of the roof of our library, in a box with a blanket over it in my office. She came in to ask a question, didn't notice the cat which was sleeping, but still freaked out the NEXT day when she discovered it had been in the same room as her. I totally understand not liking cats and even irrational fear about them, but if it was having an effect on me in my workplace I think I could try and get some help to overcome it.
I don't mind the snake picture and would hang it in my house if I liked it.

I am not opening the pic and am glad that I read the comments before I did. I can not stand those things. I don't even want to type the word. I have a terrible, terrible fear. As a matter of fact, if I went into someone's bathroom and there was a picture of that, I would probably freak the heck out. Depending on how badly I needed to go, I would probably close my eyes and have to calm myself down before I could "go". My eyes would remain closed so I didn't have to see that image again. I am really, genuinely afraid. And for the record, I would make sure that I never used your bathroom again.

I am SO glad I read the comments before clicking on the link!! I have an irrational fear/phobia of snakes. It does not matter if it is a picture of a real one or an illustration, I can't look at it (well, if they look like a Sandra Boynton or Moe Willems snake I could do it).
If I saw a picture of them on your bathroom wall, I honestly would turn around without using the bathroom.

Personally, I'd be okay with it, but having read the replies and seeing how many would not be, I would not put it in the guest bath.

I'm ok with snakes. I've even held a couple. One was a very large one I had over my shoulders. I'm ok with the picture, but I've got a big thing about snakes in the toilet for some reason. I'll even turn the bathroom light on at night to make sure one isn't there.
I might or might not use your toilet. Just depends on how the picture strikes me at the time.

I'm not a fan of it, though it wouldn't stop me from using your powder room. That said, with all the responses here, what about putting it in your master bath for you to enjoy, and finding something else for the powder room?
