I don't think there's anything wrong with making your own fruit roll ups. I just don't understand why you need someone to mail you a recipe (that you can find online) and some waxed paper and stickers (that you already have at home) to cook with your kid. Does everything have to be packaged before it's an acceptable activity these days? Exactly, home made can be fun and simple and it's great to include a child but I just don't get the pay $20 for something you can already do for free. I mean I have done many kid recipes with my kids and scrapbooked it. There are some people with too much money I think and someone's figured out how to sucker it out of them. |

Just got an email (surprising) about reveal tomorrow. My email says chat at 2 p.m. and shop at 3 p.m., subscribe now to shop earlier. Ummm I am a subscriber, so either its a mistake, or I am on a non sub subscribers list, or who freaking knows? Anything's possible  |

Has anyone noticed on the PL/Documentor change thread over at SC that bunches of people have asked if the kit is a name change only? And asked if the contents will not be changing? AND NO ONE FROM SC HAS ACKNOWLEDGED THOSE QUESTIONS/COMMENTS? Do not, for one hot second, assume these kits are going to stay the same, just because November's is the same format and maybe the next few are after that. They had those kits in the works long before their collaboration with Becky Higgins ended. SC not answering the question is VERY telling. They're trying not to rock the boat as they know memberships are fragile right now. But once those people are locked in with their ridiculous cancellation fees hanging over their heads, the changes will be coming. Maybe some will be positive (square corners), but I think more are likely to be disappointing. I also think it's crappy that people have until the 23rd to cancel without penalty, but Dec. kit reveal is posted the 22, according to April's comment on the thread. So you're getting just a few hours to open a convo and cancel if you don't like it? And we all know how long those take. I think this is shady! They're banking on people forgetting, especially those who don't check the MB. Buyer beware. And to add to this, which I agree with completely, why does it say "papers sized for pocket page scrapbookers" on the blog instead of "cards"? It says "journaling cards" on the message board, however, which is a contradiction. I don't think I would be very happy if I got paper instead of cards if I was a PL crafter. |

Since I have already professed my love for those foiled leaves in the kits this month, thought I would see if anyone who still subs might help a pea out. If there is a double up for subbers tomorrow, I would happily buy them from someone!  I'd happily buy wink winks papers...  @juliehenry4, I'll trade you my Wink Wink papers for a set of Gossamer Blue's On My Desk papers. You said you got two of each, right? That would make my day! |

If they knew that the November kit would be the 'Documenter' kit and not PL, why didn't they announce this when they release the preview video? It's labeled there as PL. It's still labeled PL on the kit preview page, too (although the drop down menu under 'Subscribe' has been updated). The timing here makes no sense. I'd be surprised if BH had her own kit. Who would do the packaging? It doesn't look like their office facilities are really set up for that type of operation. Her motto is always to keep it simple. Remember who she resisted for so long to provide any type of embellishment since the whole idea behind PL is the simplicity of it? I know they have more embellishment items now (still not tons, though). I wouldn't be surprised to see her team with another company, though. Why not, right? BH has been partnering with Heidi Swapp quite a bit this past year and I have loved everything they have done together. A kit by the two of them would be a dream come true for me! |

Okay...so I know it is late and I have had too much candy...but help me out here! I was over on the SC boards looking for something and there was talk about the new seven paper 9x12 albums and protectors. Hhhmmmm... What are they talking about? So I google it and the only thing I found easily was in the shop at citrus twist of all places! (Nothing on any of the seven paper website or social media and not in the sc shop yet- tomorrow maybe?)
3 faux leather options opinion in both 9x12 and 6x8. All being marketed with the "handbook" name and logo. BUT the 9x12 is a 3 ring and the 6x8 is a 4 ring! WTF- why does every version have to have a new ring configuration! So if I want to use the faux leather next year, I can't use the pp's I have already bought for the "new 6 ring format" that just came out this year!? Can't wait to see how many rings are in the ones currently in production under the SC/color theory umbrella- they will probably have 5 1/2 rings knowing SC!

They can't seem to stick to one design. It's like they have to keep finding new manufacturing companies or something. This is why I stick to We R Memory Keepers and Simple Stories! Always consistent and great!

I wish oh wish there were we r or BH 9x12 albums so I could bypass SC ones altogether as I am not a huge fan…. actually I really want the original black BH albums that had the PL pattern on them in 9x12 then my life would be complete - they were my all time favourite. |

Lurker here but I did subscribe to SC but run out of money before they got paid so I haven't gotten a kit yet..So when I got the email to subscribe to Project Life for a $1.00 I signed up for that and it was paid for. Now get a email saying that BH is gone and there is no longer Pl. So what happens to everyone that sign up for the special will they still honored it most likely no because I saw in my account that my subscription fee is now $55.00 I also sign up for the planner one too. Worse mistake, I am now going to called my bank and get them to block all payments to SC even if I have to change my cc number to do make sure they never get a dime from me. They had great kits and now they are seem to be the same with little difference between them.

If you sign up to a deal like that it's usually the previous kit you get sent, the half price one dollar kit etc, it's sent straight away and then you get another at reveal. So basically you get tel the first month

I got an email from Cocoa Daisy - their main kits were both sold out right away because they had a big surge of subscribers this month. Hmmm, I wonder where all those subscribers came from! |

If so, depending on what level of commitment you agreed to then yes. You can be paying $55 for two subs. |

tazmom, If I were you, I would send SC an email stating that you signed up for the PL kit thinking it would be associated with BH. Now that it is not, you want to cancel your sub and you will fight them on the cancellation fee. I would say you are on the hook for the planner though. Another option is to be a complete asshole on the message board and get banned. They will completely delete your account like you never existed!

I did shop the Presale today. It is my last opportunity to shop for extras with a discount so I picked up some of the holiday and planner stamp sets and dies, as well as the new CT pigment inks. I did not buy any of the add-on kits, though.
The only kit I had considered keeping was the PL kit because I thought it was the best value and most consistent and would allow me to keep Rewards status. But the writing is on the wall for both the Documenter kit and the Rewards program so that makes it an easy decision for me. I believe more unfavorable changes are in the works. I had planned on staying through Dec., but with the new cancellation date of Nov. 23rd, this may just be my last kit. I've been getting these kits since 2010 so it will be weird.

I am dispute it with my bank and have try to cancel the planner one from the start. I am very unhappy with thier customer service. Why the hell don't they have a phone number listed like every company on the internet. I am wondered how their BBB score is and will be checking it out. Don't hire more people for a job that isn't needed, it seems that cs needs the people more than marketing. I posted on their Instagram and will do it on their message board.I am tazmom on all social media.

New credit card and every subscripition service that is similar is getting customers from SC. Don't think that people are stupid to not see the writing on the wall, the company is going downhill fast and with the split from BH there goes more people. I am getting a new credit card so they will not be able to get any money from me. I have tried for 2 months to get it cancel and they refused, also not the only person either.

I actually checked their BBB rating after I had a horrible one and only shopping experience with SC. Amazingly, they were rated at A+, with only 2 complaints filed against them which were resolved. Surprising, right?
