I forgot to tell you all about Felicity Jane! I think she's been doing kits for almost a year. She does month to month subs. You get a $5 price break if you subscribe. If you don't subscribe you can try to buy one. She usually has a few left to sell. I have received three kits and they are beautiful kits. And her stamps are 4x6 and are freaking amazing! They come packaged in an Avery Elle pocket, too. And her packaging is downright spectacular. I swear it's like opening a present each month! FWIW, I do not know her but I have been following her on instagram for a few months. She works full-time for Silhouette and started this kit club almost a year ago. I love supporting her but, most importantly, I LOVE her kits! She's located in Utah and I'm in California so I get my kit in a couple of days. It's so nice not to wait! Here's a link to check her out: Felicity Jane
Like the look of Felicity Jane too - definitely too much out there!

You can do it leahbear1 ...there are so many other places to spend your money without the hassle. DinCA does Felicity Jane do a PL kit or just SB? I wasn't seeing one when I looked at everything a few week ago but I wasn't looking super hard, either. The kits are.cute and I like the mix of "exclusives" along with other manufacturers. She does a sheet of cut-apart cards but not a PL kit in the traditional sense. Maybe sometime in the future.

Hi! I´m from Norway and I have been a SC subscriber since 2008, and now I really think I´m done. I´m looking at both Citrus Twist and Hip Kit Club but I can´t decide, I also love the look of the Freckled Fawn kits but I´m debating wether or not it´s worth the money. Is anyone here a member of Big Picture classes? I´m really tempted, because there are a lot of classes and the price is great (it seems...)BPC is great if you have the time/inclination to take lots of classes. Since it's $9.95/month and includes access to pretty much all of the classes you can handle, if you are a class taker, I think it's a good deal. For me, though, I don't really have a lot of time to commit to an online class and would really only be able to take one a month so that would be pretty pricey for me. Also, I find that the content is often something I can find for free online/on YouTube. Like the Everyday Traveler class (I know that's SC, not BPC but it was a pricey class)...the first few "lessons" were about picking out the right traveler's notebook and how to set one up. Something I could (and did) easily find on YouTube. But, I'm a find it/do it myself kind of a girl, so the value of these classes aren't there for me. But you may be completely different and find the value! The great thing about BPC is that they have a free trial so you can try it out and see if the classes would be valuable to you or not!

I need to ask you guys something. I am a bit baffled by an answer I got from SC yesterday, and need to check with you guys if this can be correct. I used to have a Project Life sub with SC, and ended it after the 6 months I commited to. Now I am considering starting up the sub again, so I sent a question to SC about international shipping for a PL-sub. This is the answer I received: Hi E, Thanks for contacting us with your question! We have three Project Life commitments to choose from: 1 Month - $29.99/MO. 6 Months - $27.99/MO. 12 Months - $25.99/MO. With any of these plans, the kit's shipping will be free, and the handling fee will be $3.00. Shipping costs will only be added with bundled items, and you will be able to see your shipping change depending on the items you add and subtract from your cart. Please let me know if you have questions!
Is it really true that I won't pay ANY shipping for the kit? Only a $3 handling fee? It just sounds too good to be true, and I am a bit wary of SC, seeing as so many people have had bad experiences with them. I won't be ordering extra items, only the kit. Thanks in advance

It just sounds too good to be true, and I am a bit wary of SC, seeing as so many people have had bad experiences with them. I won't be ordering extra items, only the kit. Thanks in advance Rainangel, the $3.00 fee per kit is only for internationals and no you will not pay any additional shipping unless you choose to upgrade your shipping from economy to a faster method, like UPS. So the price per month if you only got the PL kit would be the monthly price (depending on your plan +$3.00). If you add things to your cart your shipping will go up according to weight (but you can see these fees before you commit to purchase) and there are some special subscriber deals every month that if you pre-order will ship free with your sub even for internationals (very cool, if you ask me). BUT please make sure you know and understand that when you sign up there is a NEW cancellation fee which basically works out to 50% of your remaining sub cost. A lot of people are uncomfortable with this. So if you have a 6 month sub and cancel after 3 months you will be required to pay 50% of the remaining 3 months. If you are okay with this then I say yep sign up. I personally will be going month to month on my scrapbook sub because it will only cost me an additional $60.00 total per year ($5.00 a month) and I can cancel by the 25th of the month and have no penalty. Let me know if you have additional questions or if I didn't explain it well enough for you.

You are correct that there is no additional shipping, they built the shipping into the monthly charge. Beware also though, that it sill ship the slowest it possibly can without you paying more for shipping. You might want to check the international board and see how long people in your area are taking to get their packages. I am on the west coast of the US and my shipping used to take 7 days, this month (my last) it took 9. I was domestic rewards too, so if you are starting from scratch and international you might want to take into account how long your package will take to arrive. Also, as stated above as an international any thing you add will cause higher shipping charges. I would look on the international board and see what other people are experiencing, but take their positivity with a grain of salt, and don't forget about their horrorific cancelation policy!

impearia Thanks you so much for your answer It just seemed too good to be true, and I am sceptical by nature. Do you know if this applies to the regular scrapbooking kit aswell? Price of kit + $3 handling and no shipping for internationals? Yes, I get the SB kit and it does ship to me with just the $3.00 fee, unless I upgrade it. As Skellinton wrote basically they built in the shipping fees. I am not sure where you are in the world, but the shipping can be a touch slow at the economy level. There is a thread up now on the SC boards titled "Shipping Comparison" which might help you, people are basically giving the amount of time it took for them to receive their kits. Here is a direct link if you want it: Shipping Comparison SC Boards linkI know a lot of people are upset with SC right now, but I really like my kits, and as long as they doesn't change I am okay with month to month subbing.

rainangel, I just want to add a couple comments. The items that are available to you at "preview" will ship free with your kit as well. For example, if you're a PL subscriber, you will have a few things you can add for no extra charge. That "perk" at preview only lasts two days. If you decide you want those add-ons later, during bundling, you will have to pay extra. If you decide to add other things during bundling, from the shop for instance, you will have to pay extra but you will be able to see those charges before you actually place the order so that you can remove it from your cart if the shipping is too much. Now having said all that, because I'm not an international, I have no idea what happens if you add enough to qualify for free shipping. You might just need to fill your cart to $80 and see what happens.

Canadians get free shipping with orders of $99 outside of the 1st-5th bundling period.

Free shipping doesn't happen with bundling anymore for anyone. Free shipping is only for Canadians and domestic shoppers outside of bundling.

I will most likely cancel before Jan. It makes me sad because I've been with them for so long and love their kits but hate the changes. Hopefully I can find a new PL kit that's not too cutesy.

Thanks for the comments DinCA I KNEW I could trust the peas to know this I am still a bit unsure if I am getting a sub. For me, being international, it seems like the new shippingpolicy will turn out in my favour. And I like what I see from the Pop Art kit in that video (which was horrible to watch with that in and out of focus thing they did!). I am waiting for the reveal day of the full kit to see if I like the rest of the kit aswell. I'm also looking at a few other kitclubs, just waiting for revealday for them all now.

Lol...have you seen on paperpilekitten's planner thread - finally a definition of 'exclusive'. "Our "exclusivity" is being able to send to our customers before other retailers can!" You couldn't make this stuff up

Lol on the exclusivity definition. They should have a PR person. Really. Someone who could help them through these transitions. I love their kits, but was so fed up, I cancelled. The fact that I have to beg them to let me give them my money baffles me. But of course, now I'm in a Murphy's law position. I want that huge date stamp. For months, nothing lured me. months!! Now that I cancelled, i want that stamp so bad I will have to subscribe for the month on the first and hope it isn't sold out yet.

Maybe a subber would buy it for you and ship it your way? They won't have to pay any extra to have it shipped to them. It would just be the cost of shipping it to you, do you know anyone who is still a subber?

Hi all of you familiar faces and names! My user name is the same here as at SC and I will change my avatar when I get to my computer. I am still currently subscribing to the PL kit at SC but we will see if that changes by December, I really really don't like change so the thought of leaving SC when I have been a member since 2011 is scary! I am looking at Clique kits right now, they seem to have great products and a mix of manufacturers that I'm looking for and SC has become all exclusive. But I primarily only do PL now. Since I started working in October I haven't made a single layout. My other option is just to continue to buy the digital version of the PL cards at SC and use up my stash of embellishments. Oh by the way, Happy National Ice Cream Day! If you get Kelly Purkey's email newsletter she is sending a free printable for the occasion and they are cute! I should just by her stuff now that I think about it, but are her products on the expensive side to anyone else? Does any one else use the app tapatalk for this site? Does it work well? I am thinking about doing what you're thinking Christy downloading digital printables and using up my embellishments!

So hilarious. What's sad is that people are going to sign up for that...pay SC $60 for content that they can find for FREE online. And from more trusted sources.

I got them for about 9 months, and then I still pick up their kits on sale if I like the contents. They are very cute, quality embellishments. Great for PL or Scrapbooking. Their CS is good as well, very nice people. It is cheaper now too since the stamp is a la carte which I think is a good option for those who don't stamp or if you don't like teh stamp that month.

Hi abragg79
Freckled fawn is great, though I think maybe a 6 month to of it for me and then I will start using my stash and sub again, they are so cute and they have great deals, you bundle for 3 days, they charge you shipping as usual and reimburse you all but 1.50 per order, they usually have a great value sub special and often have great sales, last month they had tons of $1 items. And you can buy extras of any item in your kit and several items still available from past kits I love this part of it, as I like to have two of something if I'm using it with my nephews, plus the phrase sheet and alpha this month I got two of which makes such a difference. The kit costs me €33 a month which seems expensive except for the bundling etc, and that's why I would probably sub on and off and buy lots of extras rather than just get a kit each month for a year
