SC is now offering a 6x8 paper pad to match the monthly kits. What do you think of the price? $10 seems steep. I have no doubt they'll end up on sale for $5 in the future.

But otherwise I buy those travelers notebooks for 11,99 just to get matching 4,25x8 papers and have to pay international shipping on it. If those papers are becoming an regular addon, I might bite because I don’t have to pay the hefty international shipping, only 3$ handling. Its really a pity this month papers are blah.

They would have been great during the olden days. I like 6x8 size papers a lot since I do 9x12, the rectangle works for me. If I had been subbing to the TN and whatever they call the pocket card kit I would drop the TN kit in favor of buying the 6x8 pad each month.

I'm contemplating the acetate hearts they previewed for the color theory kit...but since I used mostly Ali Edwards products, I'm concerned they won't match my current stash.

Love how SC released the February Luck in Love kits along with the May release. "So you like our new ugly? How about buying some of our older ugly too?" I used to love the 4x6 pads they had with their monthly kits so a 6x8 pad is not a bad idea. But I'm guessing international shipping would be outrageous on top of the already overpriced pad so I'd never get it anyway. Plus, I'd be weary of the paper + printing quality going up and down without rhyme or reason from one month to the next.

The covid Things Are Looking Up stamp set is cu-ute!! Celebrating our family jabs by preordering it. 🥳 Those stamps are adorbs, I pre-ordered straight away. Couldn't help myself! Forgive me, fellow SC refugees, for I have sinned. I got my first dose of Pfizer-BioNTech yesterday (happiest surprise in the last 15-ish months) so I'm celebrating with some online shopping like honeypea.

Our president announced last night, just as I was home from my first jab, that every person in France over 18 will become eligible next week which is a month early.

I am so happy for you all in France! Things are picking up speed here. My parents and parents-in-law have been vaccinated, which is great. My age group is scheduled for July, but things could be moved up if they manage to keep the momentum going. I just hope I am vaccinated before the start of the next academic year.

Yay for your parents(-in-law)! I remember the relief of knowing my mother was protected. I really hope the EU can continue to distribute more doses than anticipated in the next few weeks so the vaccination campaigns can pick up all around the union. It'd be nice if people in the more touristy countries like you can get vaxxed before the summer season. Do you know if there's a possibility for you to get one of the daily left-over doses from the big vaccination centres? This is how several of us 30-somethings already got their first shot in my nook of Europe, ahead of the schedule.

Our governor is pushing opening back up and returning to offices and lots of places are lifting restrictions, so it will help me document. DH and I are fully vaccinated now, and DS will get his second shot this week, so a big relief there.

I preordered it as well. I skipped the first pandemic set they had, but this one I'll get a lot of use out of!

I preordered the stamp as well. I looked over the site to see if there's anything I "need" for 25% off but couldn't find anything. Probably for the best because I'll be dropping some $$$ this month at EE and PP.

Damn, I should have waited to preorder that set! The discount doesn’t apply to new/recent items and some other exclusions (because I had the same thought, but then read the fine print).

AliExpress puffy heart sticker update: they've arrived! They are just like in the photo. Matte finish. The smallest ones fit right about on my pinky finger nail for size comparison. I'm getting a few more sheets. Order away, everyone!

I bought two sets of journal cards and two sheets of phrase stickers back in April when SC had a sale. Combined with a coupon, I got each card set for about $5 and thought it worth to check the quality these days. I haven't had cards from SC in forever.
Colour me pleasantly surprised. I got the Chalet Edelweiss and Bookworm cards. Nice quality, good thickness (that's what she said), good printing and colour vibrancy (although SC picked a few shades that were just too light but that's business as usual for them). The phrase sticker sheets are good like they've always been.

Sometimes their designs just aren't to my taste but when they get it right plus the printing and material, they're pretty nice. I was subbed to SC for a few months as my options are so bloody limited right now, but the May kit pushed me over the edge to cancel. Definitely not in a hurry to receive that one.

Joining you on the excluded! bench soon, peachiceteas. I'm hoping we can continue to pick up the occasional DK/journal card set from SC with decent enough quality so we're not completely out of the physical PL game. I wonder if Geralyn's FYC collaboration/contract is tight or if she has some wiggle room to design/co-design kits at SC. I would love to pick up some of her designs printed and ready to use.

My SC kit arrived and I love the paper pad. The paper is a great quality and I love the patterns this month. I know not everyone loved this month’s kits but I think the colors are really pretty.
