My order from December 10 (12 days ago) is still not even filled...much less in the hands of UPS.  Glad yours is on its way! Dayum. Does it contain any of the new goodies that aren't in the warehouse yet (and who knows when they will be)? This sucks big time. My order has now already reached Chicago and been handed over to USPS. Let's see how long the next leg of the journey takes... I don’t think so…it was some gold Christmas chipboard, some asterisks from a previous kit, and the 2022 stamp…hmmm…maybe it’s that? |

It’s coming but probably not till mid January. But no worries y’all. The January kit Won’t be delayed that we can tell! Go ahead and buy the January kits and we will then tell you it’s been delayed too.

Has anyone received their Dec subscription yet? After they took payment they emailed regarding shipping delays. They made a very vague shipping will be late Dec statement. I haven't heard anything since nor have I received my kit. sigh Nope not a peep. I've been so bogged down with other crap that hasn't shipped (hello half my son's Christmas gifts) that I haven't even thought to bug SC. Gonna take care of that right now. I'm still annoyed they charged me and then don't ship. Also annoyed that I get the documenter and stamp kits but they won't ship the stamp kit that is ready to go. Lazy and just being cheap IMO. So I just received an email from SC. Apparently the December kits are now slated to ship mid January! But it's ok because they don't anticipate any issues with the January kits. What should happen is that SC sends an email. It would contain a sincere apology. It would then state the Dec kits are being shipped immediately sans whatever content they don't possess. Then we'd be informed that the payment they took for non-existent Dec kits will be used as a credit for the January kits. That's what should happen but you know SC and all. I placed an order for some of the 50% off CT stuff last week. Shopping seemed at a standstill, but then I eventually got an update that delivery was expected 12/26. I didn’t believe it because it never budged from Nashville, but then it arrived on my doorstep Christmas Eve! Along with the AE order for the OLW album! Feeling all kinds of warm fizzies for Inked today.

First peek I’ve seen of January - Heba posted a reel of sneaks on Instagram. I LOVE these colors. I generally loathe butterflies and I think you’d be hard pressed to find a single butterfly icon on any project I’ve ever done, but these ones actually appeal to me. January, ah yes, a perfect month to use pretzels, cherries and peaches/apricots as icons!  I love muted colours but I don't want them to start a new year, especially with a yellowy cream. Give me bright white, mint, lilac or even bright citrus yellow. I need freshness and them invigorating vibes. My say-something-positive: the leaping bunny is cute! Otherwise, big time meh. |

Sooo we still haven't received December's kits...and this dumpster fire is what they're sending for January!?! The colours are awful and yeah butterflies,cherries etc are exactly what I think when you say January. At least I can always use a basic black alpha.  Hey there's always next month (Feb/Valentine's)....the kit will be grey and orange with lots of turkeys and,I don't know, snow shovels because why not. Ugh, their kits are so random and ridiculous anymore. |

Seriously would have guessed that the sneaks were for a June kit based on the bright colors and themes. I don't know if I like the DK or not...definitely like the DK stamp better than the TN stamp...but I'm still locked into a 12 month subscription so I may just get it to keep my sub moving along. |

Well, I did it. I cancelled my Documenter kit after 3-4 years. The January kit is atrocious. Kiley's work is so godawful, I won't consider resubbing until they are done using her as an artist. Also paused my stamp sub because it's terrible as well.
No idea what I'm going to use for PL going forward. I will miss my chipboard fix.
Still haven't received my December stuff.

Anybody else still have wood veneer and fabric chipboard of those SAME cameras in their fresh, new kit?? I'm guessing typewriters will be making their way into their kits this year as well.
I actually like the butterflies - I've always liked them, actually - but January does not scream "butterfly season" to me... along with the deer and foxes and pretzels? I mean. Way to ring in the New Year, SC!

It looks like an old Messy Box kit that has been languishing since 2003 was found and reimagined. It is as sorts of a hot mess. Nothing quite screams January to me like baseball, butterflies, and pretzels.  . |

Is Kiley the same as LLP? I can’t stand LLP. I don’t consider myself a great artist by any stretch, but there’s never been anything from LLP that I couldn’t replicate 100% better. I have never understood how LLP succeeds as a designer. 😵💫 I can’t even tell what the stamp kit is. Is it the hand drawn label shapes? The CT kit is strange. Huge stickers with a postal stamp set? I’m a little concerned that I can’t find a single glimpse of anything IACB in these pics. |

LLP is Tina Aszmus. I agree her stuff is a bit rough. I've kept a few of her things though generally not a fan.
Kiley Bennett Co is Kiley in Kentucky. All rubbish, straight to donate/sell pile.

I used to love SC. I only pick up a kit on sale every once in a while and then kind of wonder why I did that lol. I still like some of the stamps that come out but sadly the kits just aren't for me anymore.

I am on the fence about the DK kit. I quite like that 'new beginnings' card as I like to use cards with sentiments like that as my title page. I would buy the digitals for that card.
I hate the stamp - it's useless for my style of documenting. I like the stamp sets that are mostly sentiments and don't have fillers like that butterfly.
I hate the butterfly acetate pieces. And I cannot stand useless AF chipboard sheets with mostly text only shapes.
So I'd buy the digitals for the cards but thats it.

I just flipped through my box of cards and tried to pick some for my January 2022 PL and here's what I've come to realise: I can still find some stuff from hoarded old DK and add-on card sets (ugh, some of those sets were SO good) that I love and want to use to this day. The more recent DK kits? Not so much. I've got some cards from 2021 kits and yeah, it's a struggle reaching for most of those, to be honest.
Instead, I'm now joyfully cutting up some cards from the 3x8 set Liz Tamanaha designed for AE for DD 2020 and stamping those for my PL spread. Studio Calico really is no longer my jam. But I'm effed if Inked ever sign Liz's Paislee Press for a monthly sub. Effed big time. I've used nearly every single card she has designed for AE over the years (and I've printed more stuff from her digi offer). Why they don't get her to design for the DK or allow her to create the occasional overpriced mini kit for SC (not just the super themed stuff for AE like DD or WITL/DITL) is beyond my understanding.

I don’t get it lol It allows you to create a paper 'attacher' that you adhere to ephemera so you can include those items in your albums without punching holes in the item itself. I find them useful for items like postcards or leaflets.  |
