the hands for those different projects and it’s the same hands with varnished nails. Don’t know if I’m clear 😆 That is so weird. Why aren't they doing their own videos? Or just make a post with photos if you don't want to make a video. |

What did I miss in the SC-verse in the first half of the year? Anything juicy? No juice that I’m aware of. It kinda seems like April is checked out. She never posts SC stories anymore. And her personal ones used to be kid and home focused and she started posting g more political type ones? Sorta? Stuff like conservative fiscal ideology and other sorta fringe politically kinda things. But I think that’s petered out. You’ve probably missed at least four litters of kittens being born and broadcast for free giveaway in your time away. It’s outrageous she doesn’t spay her cats. 😤 |

I am sorry to read about your very difficult start to the year on the other thread. I had a little chuckle at your stepfather being back to his usual grumpy self. Here's to a beautiful summer for you and your family. We are definitely happy to have you back, now that you're now in a place where you can engage with the scrapping world and your pals here again. ❤️ There is something so healing about being immersed in something as simple as cutting and sticking pretty paper. Scrapping has definitely taken a back seat for me recently too but it has been like that for a while. I've found new hobbies and adventures to fill up my evenings and weekends. I did think recently about pausing/stopping memory keeping but I just can't - it's the best. Hope all you other ladies are doing well too. ❤️ This thread has been pretty quiet recently which says a lot doesn't it. 🤣 I can't even be bothered to look most months at SC's collections and sneaks. I didn't buy a single item from their travel line this year which is practically unheard of for me as ALL I scrap is travel. It bothers me that they have stopped producing card sets and instead have moved to papers. I am using IACB's Tourist Mode instead - it's SO good. That combined with her printable from her site make my heart sing!! |

Saw that, felt weird about it. We've done the butchering chickens thing a few years ago but I would have never considered posting it on social media. It's not for everyone and that's fine.

Yeeeeeeah. The chicken butchering was a hard nope for me. I’m not squeamish, I’m not ignorant of animal processing (and realize this was much more palatable than what happens in big facilities!). But ick, no. Do not come to Instagram for that, especially on my happy scrappy account. The grossest part was the feathers. 🤮
Probably didn’t help that I’m truly bird-phobic and disgusted by birds to begin with. One of the first images in those stories was a plucked chicken with its gnarly chicken feet still attached sticking out and I had those horrible feet stuck in my brain all day.
Just another example of the weird turn April has taken on insta.

I missed the Chicken Murder She Streamed episode. As did I. In high school back I worked on a chicken farm and for $7/hour (in 1988/89 that was big money) so I've seen enough chicken murder in my life.  SC is doing their one dollar digital sale again. I bought 3 sets of cards. I've been waiting for the Me Myself & I cards to go to $1 so I can change the colors on the cards I want to use. I'm not a huge fan of those muted tones she used. |

What do we think of their new digital subscription? I may give it a try. I canceled all of my ali kits, I’m just not feeling it. I noticed Krystal Idunate is using more SC products now too and I like her layouts. I can’t do that tiny 6x8 size she does but I do like the look
