I love their $1.00 digital sale, I always pick up a few card or stamp sets. What do we think of their new digital subscription? I may give it a try. I canceled all of my ali kits, I’m just not feeling it. I noticed Krystal Idunate is using more SC products now too and I like her layouts. I can’t do that tiny 6x8 size she does but I do like the look I think it's overpriced considering they do $1 sales every 3 months or so. I agree. I just pick up the digital cards when the $1 sale comes around. I collect all of them from the last sale and then wait for the next one. I would get the kit club if I used the other parts of it, but I don't use the stamps so even if I buy the other parts, it's $3 and a lot of the times I just get the cards. |

The full DK kits at 12.99 are a great deal but I'm sure they've jacked up shipping so eh, who knows in the end? Nothing I feel I have to have. Might look at the stamp sets closer. |

Welp, this weak creature just placed an order.  Shipping for warehouse sale stamp sets was still marked as free for internationals so I got Word Shapes (these would look awesome with embossing powder - now where to find a super hot pink?) and the 2022 winter olympics set (only $5 and plenty enough is usable for summer olympics/other winter olympics). |

I got an email about a clearance sale but it looks like all the same stuff that's already on sale. It really is a ton of old stuff. But just as I was about to stop scrolling a very old DK Kit caught my eye - Expedition. Is that 2015? 2014? The year with the cork monthly titles? It was $10 and it said only 3 in stock. Those must’ve been lost in a really dark corner of the warehouse. I have been ISO that kit for YEARS. They have absolutely not been listed in the shop for ages and ages. I’ve previously bought the digitals, but wanted the gold embossed cards and the wood cards. As a cherry on top, I won a $10 gc last week for posting a pic on instagram during their birthday celebration, so that paying the $6 shipping fee didn’t piss me off. 😂 |

honeypea I think the Expedition kits were from 2018! And I believe the Expedition scrapbook kit was the last scrapbook kit they released (although it's been so long, I may have that wrong). I LOVE this kit and would buy a second one, but it's now sold out. I'm excited you were able to find a kit you've been looking for! ETA: I picked up this stamp set last month (at full price...) and it really is a cute stamp set. I don't have anything like it in my stash and I'm excited to use it! It is $9.99 (50% off) during the warehouse sale and I recommend it!

The Meet me at the Castle paper pack is gone again. Hoping it will resurface. I keep missing it. Would happily (ever after) buy the digitals.

I've been looking for stamps just like this (especially with this type of wording) for my kids for awhile and this is perfect but of course it's sold out. It's from 2020 so unlikely to be restocked right? Any tips on where to look for one, second-hand groups etc? I'm not in the US so that makes it trickier but hoping someone has one to destash somewhere. Thanks!  |

They do knock offs but not sure they would have something this old or not. Just know that it is not a high quality stamp, but it is still a stamp. Maybe better than nothing if you can't find a used one. |

Of course, lots of what I wanted was sold out (travel themes), but I managed to get a few items to gift. Lots of the destination stamps are on sale so I bought the honeymoon location to include in an upcoming wedding gift (she's a scrapbooker).

scrapperal I almost missed the email, too! I picked up two stamp sets: the Graduation set (my oldest kid graduates from high school next spring!) and All About Us. My total with shipping was $16.70... less than one stamp set. I'm happy.

What’s everyone thinking lately? The complaints here seem to have died down lol, although I think there have been a lot of changes lately!
My thoughts:
The 3x4 kit stamps being this crappy quality is sort of a blessing and a curse. Makes it a lot easier for me to pass on kits knowing there’s no lasting value — “lasting value” to me are things that live beyond the quickly consumed things (stamps, zipper pouch, washi)
Speaking of zipper pouches - I was surprised they switched to cardboard with zero warning. Maybe I shouldn’t have been surprised! Lol.
I don’t mind if personally, as I was accruing an unwieldy surplus of zipper bags. I’ve gotten the last couple DKs, and I just transfer the contents from the mailer to an old bag. I feel a little bad for people who don’t have that option.
I loved the last DK. Whipped our BTS pics up in PL so easily and fast! I got the ADORABLE pencil washi as an add-on and love it. Absolutely cute cute cute.
I got the Stamp Kit with the bogo promo they ran last month and they didn’t come with storage sleeves. But the crappy quality 3x4 DK stamp had one. (I do t care about sleeves, but I know they’re popular with others).

I'm newer to the SC fandom and I'm full of complaints! Haha jk....mostly. I had avoided for awhile due to some of the controversy, but about 6 months ago I decided to subscribe to the TN kit. I feel like I missed the "golden days" 100% - in the time I've subscribed, I've experienced the stamp quality decline and now the removal of the zipper bags - I'm one of the ones you're talking about that doesn't really have the plentiful backups, so I'm bummed about it! I'll ride it out for a few more months and then re-evaluate, maybe concentrate on picking up older kits that hopefully come with the better quality stamps and zipper bags.

At this point, if AE and SC pulled the 3x4 stamps out of their kits I would not care.They hold no real value to me. I would rather have more usable products than a crap stamp. With SC the designs are so stagnant and over done.

I canceled my Documenter kit subscription earlier this month. I have subscribed since the first Documenter kit (I may have skipped a month or two here and there), but I'm just not using the products anymore. If there is a kit I absolutely love, I will pick it up at the month-by-month rate, but it was time to cancel. I did keep my stamp subscription, though. The quality of the 6x8 stamps are great and I usually love the stamps each month.
I was disappointed in the quality of the 3x4 stamps. Due to the poor quality, I am not using those stamps. I was also disappointed we aren't receiving the idea insert or the stamp sleeve anymore. It's been a while since they stopped sending the idea insert with the stamp set each month, but I was extremely disappointed when they stopped. I would pay $1.00 more for a stamp sleeve and $1.00 for the idea book.

Im seriously debating not doing it next year as well. I do have enough stash for about one more year though. Inspired by Janet RTS I started doing 2 page monthly recaps to use up all my old project life supplies. 12 2-pagers a year. Not overwhelming in time or volume. Great way to quickly capture the big picture of life and use up old stuff. I know it isn’t for everyone but maybe give it a try and see if a more relaxed version of project life fits? |

That’s a good idea! I have a few years of albums like this where I'd do a double page layout, mostly 8x8 but I also have an entire year in a 6x8 FJ album. It is much more low stress, I just chose my favourite photos at the end of each month and then wrote some journaling covering whatever was in the photos and anything else I wanted to include. In months where there was one big event, I occasionally would use just photos from that event but journal about the whole month, sometimes I'd just pick my very favourite event photo and mix it in with the other everyday shots. |
