I loathed coloring as a kid. And it’s somehow making me even angrier at this product 😂 I didn't mind it but it was definitely the boring thing to do in class, wasn't it? I got told off by a substitute teacher once because I coloured in the page she'd given in a dot art style. It was her fault for hanging up some images from art around the world that included aboriginal dot art!

I honestly dont believe for 5 minutes there is anything educational about colouring a map, pirate ship or a 'bill of rights'. Like sure, it's a fun activity for kids to nurture their creativity, but it's barely going to teach them anything about geography or history. They're so absorbed with the actual colouring part, they won't be learning anything other than how to colour in the lines. And why would you pay for colouring sheets when you can get them from Google for free.... just search '1700s colouring in for kids' and lots of free resources come up. You cray, April - you cray. There is some benefit to coloring; fine motor, identifying patterns, planning, etc. But they should not be considered a teaching tool and the designs she has are certainly not going to spark any interest or learning in children. The price is outrageous as well. Hell, you can buy fairly decent coloring books at the Dollar Tree and as you said coloring sheets are certainly available for free from good old Google.

I had a look at the Continents set and found a spelling error in about 5 seconds.....that's not very educational.....

The quarantine stamp set by IACB I had preordered shipped a couple of days ago. The one they sent in March is still in transit. Which one will get to me first?

So AliExpress has a wealth of new stamps and whilst I said I would never buy from there again, my curiosity is peaked yet again.
The two stamp sets I bought, they had spelling mistakes, but to be fair, I think they were on the images on AE I just didn’t notice
Has anyone ordered any stamps lately where they have ripped the product photography directly from the original retailer? When they turn up - how do they look?
I’m reluctant to spend any more money for stamps to turn up with spelling mistakes. I can overlook a little reduction in the stamping quality but can’t overlook spelling mistakes.

Oh my goodness. I just decided to check the tracking on my SC and AE orders to see if they had been picked up from SC yet and they have already departed the US!
I won’t get too excited but perhaps this means I’ll receive my kit in two weeks rather than 6 weeks!
I hope we have been through the worst and this is international post picking back up again.

Good for you! I’m experiencing my first shipment fail. Order left KY to TN and has sat in a UPS facility for ten days since. It was supposed to be delivered yesterday (in CA!). Me sad.

I swear God punishes me whenever I defend SC.
Got my SC documenter kit today. Took two weeks to go less than 1000 miles. AND the alphabet and butterfly stickers are bent because they shoved it in a bubble mailer with nothing to keep it from getting bent.

Yes it looks like it. At the bottom of the page under shipping details it should provide you with an alternative tracking number that you can paste into the USPS tracking. I find the USPS tracking gives a clearer picture of where the package is.

I guess when I check out as a Guest I don’t get a shipping notice? Nice to know they are shipping though. I saw the Everday Explorer one today that is sooooo similar (the icons and such) and kinda wished I got it instead. Although it did strike me how similar the two are.

Heba posted a July sneak. Not impressed! What’s that jungle plant circle? The pink card on the table says “p.s. you’re rad”. 🙄

God, that is awful. I don’t know anyone who uses rad either, and if it is April and Ali then they need to stop pretending they are late teen/early 20 something hipsters and grow up.
What does it say above the Radness stamp? There is that horrible silly putty pink color again, I don’t like how much pink they use in general, but that horrid pink they use over and over and over is the worst shade of pink I can think of.
Not a kit I am sad to be missing.

Thank goodness I cancelled my kit.
I actually wouldn't use any of the items shown in that sneak - except for the stamp sleeve!

I say "rad" all the time, and a lot of my punk friends do too. It's a common word in our scene.

I actually really like the jungle leaves circle and Washi. But I do wish they’d get rid of that pink color.

Stamp set ordered in late March has arrived, HU-FREAKIN'-ZZAH! Like cbscrapper , I wish I hadn't pre-ordered the IACB x SC one and bought the Everyday Explorers set instead but I didn't know back then and what's done is done. C'est la vie. Confession: I kind of like the general aesthetic of the July DK. That light peach/coral pink is my jam (don't @ me, Skellinton ), I love a nice leaf pattern and some black & white. But I can't with those silly sentiments they keep recycling over and over again.

I wasn’t being snarky saying “what’s that jungle circle”, it was an honest question. 😂 Is it a giant die cut, or a transparency (like those big fruit ones awhile back)?

FWIW, the first online person I know of to use rad a lot was Elise Blaha Cripe (Get to Work Book, also designed an early BH PL kit), soon after I noticed others in her circle using it too, like Ann-Marie and Ali. Then Ali ran with it and never let it go.

If we're going to go retro, let's mix it up and have some fun with it, I say.

LOL, I just saw Dodgeball for the first time a few weeks ago and Jason Bateman cracked me up. Laura Wosnik has stamp sneaks on Instagram. Looks family themed with potty people icons and “This is Us” sentiments. I thought it had to be an old set when I first saw it! The shape of the people, particularly the baby, made me think it was KP stamps. Editing to add pic!.

I didn't realize that was what you were asking. I am betting it is a transparent circle with the leaves on top. (Or maybe I hope that is what it is vs. a plain card stock circle.)
