Mobile - like the school project or the thing that hangs over a baby's crib.
Mo-beeeeel - like the city?
Mo-bul - like mobile phone or portable
Mo-bile? Does it even matter?

I say moh-bul for all.
If I was British, I would say moh-bile.
I think Moh-beel is only the place in Alabama, isn't it?

In American English, the adjective and the noun are pronounced differently. The adjective is either ˈmōbəl or ˈmōˌbīl. The noun is ˈmōˌbēl.

Comes out like a drawl, very born in upstate NY way of speaking. ( or at least my part of the state way. )
