I just finished a tea towel. I had an old vintage one I got for free when I bought a few other things at a vintage fair because it had a few tears in it. I set it aside thinking that one day I would figure out something to do with it and today apparently was the day. I pulled it out and put some patches on the holes... Well, it's sideways...not sure why? But photobucket won't load for some reason and when I attached as a file it comes up sideways (if you click on the photo it comes up straight and a bit larger.) Anyway, that's what I did on my rainy Saturday morning instead of cleaning. How about y'all? What are you making these days??

Baby knits. When I get buttons sewn on and block everything, I'll post a picture of the 0-6 month collection .

Nothing since turning metal sheets into a magnet board inside my kitchen cabinets. But I am scrapping a lot! I'll be checking back in to see what everyone else is up to.

My last project. Altered gift bag for a swap I'm in. Now I'm just trying to get my craft area organized before I start any new projects.

My family is throwing a surprise 25th wedding anniversary party for my sister and bil and I am decorating a mailbox for their cards (bil is a postal carrier), plus I'll make a card and some other decorations yet to be determined.

I just started a brand new cross stitch project this afternoon. It's a Heaven and Earth Designs chart, so this is a long term commitment. I have an order from my nephew for a couple more pairs of pajama pants. I washed the fabric and cut out the pattern yesterday. I'll put them together one evening this week.

I made three bracelets yesterday. It's been awhile since I got my beads out. I have one more color I want to make a bracelet with, but I want to get more of a variety of beads in that color first.

I just started a diaper bag for my great-niece and her DH's upcoming baby boy. The wanted camouflage with blue trim which is not exactly stocked at major department stores. I decided camouflage and denim will do the trick. Just cut it and and tomorrow I will start sewing it. Hopefully it will go well since I did make a few changes to the pattern since it didn't seem to have enough pockets for my liking.

I'm thinking and starting to get my bulletin board ideas together for preschool. I'M doing a Pete the Cat theme so I've pinned a lot. Today I went to Michael's and got some paper to make a Pete.

I bet it was relaxing and enjoyable to stitch them up, on a rainy day.

I've just finished a card for DH's cousin, who had surgery on Monday. She's in her early forties, and was diagnosed with breast cancer (and it means it's his third close relative who has been diagnosed within the past three years). I'm also knitting a dress for DD9, hope to get it ready for when school starts in two weeks.

I am in the middle of two double LOs about my gt.grandparents and their children, I'm sort of in the middle of an Alice in Wonderland album and I need to start a cross stitch sampler for my granddaughter's bedroom in time for a specific date near the end of December. I have everything ready, I just need to get on with it.

Had to Google Pete - never heard of him before! What are you planning on doing? For the bulletin board, I have a Pete the Cat cut out that I used last year. I dress the cut out (it's large) in whatever season and integrate him on the board. Pete the Cat is very popular with the preschool set. My bulletin board is the first one in the preschool hall so I try to keep it jazzed up for kids and parents/teachers. My scrap booking skills have come in very handy.

I may or may not have finished a painting I was working on (still waiting to hear back), and getting ready to start on a picture of two giraffes in a folk art style for a friend who's getting remarried. And pretty soon I get to do some more painting for Tacoma Opera. Lots of painting!

Scrub hats for our annual fundraisers for breast cancer awareness. We do several fundraisers throughout the year and make a large donation from our hospital to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Our hospital has a specialized breast center and specializes in breast surgeries and reconstruction after cancer.

I dyed again. I do need to take some pictures though. I also started making lanyards for upcoming craft shows after being asked if I make them several times. I did one show where one lady was selling them and was told by two different people that they felt they weren't well done. I tried a few different examples and think I found one that works. Now to sew up the stack I have. Is gardening crafty? I'm having a excellent crop of zucchinis and cupcake squashes just from 3 plants each.
