I'm Sara (no h), another SC transplant, and I live in northern Spain with my boyfriend and two rescue cats. I've always been very crafty and love photography (although I'm not very good at it, I try) so when I discovered Project Life around 10 months ago I was instantly sold. Recently I'm dabbling in mini albums and smallish layouts. Also I'm trying hybrid scrapbooking and loving it. I'm an avid reader with a penchant for Sci-Fi, knitter, crocheter and a fairly decent cook. I've been learning english on and off since I was 7 years old (I just turned 30) and enjoy it very much, these boards are great practice since my writing is not very good. I like to think I'm a fluent speaker and even better reader

Thanks MDscrapaholicYes kitbop, I've been told!! Argh! Whyyyy xD I blame my reading habits, they're probably too eclectic. My sister spent a year living in England and has the same problem. I'm doing my PL journaling in English for practice, too. And because all the pretty supplies are in English *sigh*

Cool, nice to see a scrapbooker infusion here.
I'm Patti from NJ, I am probably more of a sporadic poster here. I've been officially scrapbooking since 2003, but always have kept photo albums and journals, all my life. I got way more into photography in 2011. I have gone thru phases of digi scrapping only, pocket page style scrapping, but mostly do traditional now. Instead of trying to scrap everything, now I focus on a few key photos/stories and am actually happier with less "stuff". I've been purging like crazy and continue to do so, and probably only spend about $200 a year on this hobby now. I make sure I love what I buy and I use it.
Currently I am trying to get my ancestry project together, been researching for years and need to start organizing it into an album. I started a blog this year (have failed attempts in the past) and have stuck with it pretty well, enjoying my little nook in cyberspace. I'm all about the no rules theory and just scrap what I want, how I want.
Oh and I am happily in a relationship with no kids. I scrapbook trips, adventures, everyday stories & my nephew.

Hi! I'm Kara from Jax, Florida, and found 2Peas Refugees hours after 2Peas went kaput. You can mostly find me on the Stamping & Cardmaking forum but I'm here quite a bit too.

I'm Lisa and currently live in Nebraska. I've moved all my life, but find Omaha a good fit.
I'm a bit of an ADD scrapper/crafter -- always getting bored and needing to try something new. I've always had a love for office and school supplies. I am a true Project Life convert and love the easy way of documenting my life. I call it journaling with photos.
I found 2Peas about 18 months before they folded, but was a lurker. Since the Refupeas I've actually moved up to Chatterbox.

I'm Deborah from Arkansas. I found this board after two peas closed. I'm trying to move from collecting PL supplies to actually doing it - also in the process of converting to a more library of memories style scrapbooking instead of chronological. I need to give myself the freedom to scrap the moment.

Hi, I'm Katie. I actually signed up here when 2peas closed, but didn't post much initially. I did read a bit though.
I live in Minnesota and have been scrapping for years. I mostly do PL style lately - my goal is to get photos in books and make things look pretty, but I don't consider myself too artistic and was often overwhelmed with 12x12 layouts.

If so, I just Googled it, and it looks quite beautiful there!! (and I think your English is very good.) ETA: and I have to say, I also collect WAY more supplies than I will ever use... there's just so much pretty paper, and so little time!! And so little space to work on my desk, lol!!

I'm Emily, a Colorado girl currently living in West TX with my son and fiancé. I had just started posting a little when 2Peas shut down and have lurked on these boards for a bit now. I have been scrapping since 2002. I primarily scrap 12x12 LOs but have started incorporating pocket pages into scrapping my son's baby album. I also crochet and make jewelry.

Hi everyone. I'm Laura and I live in Canada's capitol…..Ottawa, Ont. I was a long time member of 2 Peas and still miss it. I was thrilled to find this new site. I have been married 39 years to my high school sweetheart and we have two kids and two grandkids. I have run my own home childcare program for almost 28 years. I have recently discovered Bible journaling and I'm enjoying that as well.

Hi! Dee from Washington State, on the coast. Mostly lurker, sometime poster on the old Two Peas. Two daughters, 24 and 20 and one son-in-law. DD/SIL moved to California for medical school and I miss them terribly but am racking up frequent flyer miles! Married to college sweetheart for almost 28 years. He recently retired from law enforcement and I'm still working in a small hospital as the HIM (medical records) Director. I have been scrapping for several years but really kicked it up a notch after youngest daughter graduated from high school. My time became more my own and I'm loving hanging out in my scrapbook room, watching Netflix and playing with my collection, errrr, supplies!

We're kinda like Scotland: bagpipes, celtic heritage and nature.

I'm glad she enjoyed her time here, spaniards are usually very hospitable. And, you know, THE FOOD

I'm Lisa, I'm from North Carolina and I found y'all here when 2 Peas went away. I just turned 55, have a 27 year old son and divorced as of last Thursday (after 4 years.) I've been employed in county government for 23 years (social services) and have 7 more years till I can retire with full benefits! I am also a belly dancer - yes, that's right! My avatar is a shot from my very first solo dance, to a Rob Zombie song. I'm also a metal head. My space is shared with my silly little chihuahua/feist mix Snickers, an enormous fluffy cat BeBe and my son's BFF Jason, recently discharged from the Army. I love that they live here with me - their dual acoustic guitar playing keeps me entertained. We're all helping each other on our way to a better future. I've been scrapbooking in some form or fashion since I was a kid, buying Snoopy scrapbooks at my Hallmark store and using bottles of rubber cement and scotch tape in those books! LOL Thankfully, I have been able to salvage the really important things out of those disasters and put them in a safe environment. I kind of scrap all over the place - mostly 12 X 12, but I also have several SN@P type albums with their associated inserts, a few SMASH-type books (reminding me of my old scrapbooks - stuff I want to keep, but not put in a 12 X 12 format) and I love to make cards. Right now, I'm putting together card kits for a 2 day crop I'm going to at the end of the month. I don't follow trends, don't have a favorite line of products because I don't shop by specific lines. Anything Christmas I'm going to love, however! LOL I've been mostly a Frozen Pea as far as shopping goes, mostly due to severely limited funds during the separation/divorce. There is such a wealth of stuff on Pinterest and I love using my pretty good stash of stuff to create things that almost look "new and fresh!" LOL I also crochet, cross stitch, I'm a Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter junkie and I also belong to the Order of the Eastern Star. (If you're not familiar with that, it's sort of the ladies branch of the Masonic lodge.) I was so glad to find the Refupeas - we become invested in each others lives so much and I missed everyone when 2 Peas tanked! I talk too much!

Hi all! My name is Renee and I have been Scrapbooking since 2009. I live in NC and have worked in government (Child Support Services & Social Services mainly) for 27 years. I have been married for 24 years and have 1 child, who is 7.
I mainly scrapbook 12 x 12 with some Project Life mixed in. I went to a Creative Memories event in 2008 and did not relate to the craft. There was a crop immediately following the workshop presentation and I remember thinking the ladies were crazed about Scrapbooking. I just did not get it. A year went by and I was visiting a craft store and wandered down the paper rafting isle. I saw some pretty paper and thought.....hmmmm....why don't I just put my pictures on pretty paper and call it a day. Then, I saw some examples and thought....hmmmm.....wonder how they did that? I started researching technique and visiting scrapbook stores. I was hooked after that!

What a fab thread! It's so nice to get to know people. I'm Kate, I live in the UK. I have a BF, no children but lots of pets. I've been scrapbooking on and off for about 8 years...since my parents opened a craft shop and asked me to find out what 'that scrapbooking thing' was all about. They've still got the craft shop, but scrapbooking really hasn't taken off here (especially in the area where we live) so they don't do much of it. I have streamlined my scrapping now...I don't like mini albums, so I am sticking to my 12x12 with PL-style pages mixed with traditional layouts. I love recording my life and my BF loves it too. The main objective is to have lots of wonderful memories to look back on together when we are old and grey I was on 2Peas for years but I have nearly got as many posts here in just 12 months! I love that this board is starting to move a bit more and I'm trying to do my bit to help

I am Laura. DH & I have four kids, a son and three girls, ages 13-20. I work for a private non-profit. As a teen, I put my photos in cling type albums with my own captions written on strips of paper. I saw a segment on a craft show for what's turned into today's scrap booking back in 1990, but couldn't find any products. I finally did in 1997 and haven't looked back.
