What are your goals for October? One of mine is to organize my scraproom so how about a RAK prize for this month or even two? Don't forget to check back in and tell us how you are doing on your goals!

I only have 2 main goals this month because I think it will take a good chunk of the month to accomplish them:
* finish my PL2013 last month I was able to put pl cards in the slots for June - Dec and completely embellish and journal June and July yay but I still have Aug thru Dec to complete, I will be so happy when it is done
* I am going to a 3 day crop on October 23/24/25 so I want to organize what I am doing for that. Make up some layout kits, I have some cards I want to C.A.S.E. so I need to get those organized and I also want to start working on my December daily and get the album filler pages done so I need to sit down and sketch out and c.a.s.e. some ideas I have pinned on my pinterest boards.
Good Luck with everyone accomplishing their goals this month!

Since I'm convering my old scrapbooks to digital, my goal is to get 100 of my old pages either scanned or redone for the month (it' about 2/3 I'm redoing and the other 1/3 I just want to scan in). It's a lofty goal, but I work better with a deadline!

Keep plugging away on my Disney album from 2009
Keep working on this year's family album - January-February are done; I've almost finished March. I need to order photos for April next.
update 5 October - March and April are done; working on May. Discovered I hadn't downloaded my ipod photos in way too long so I'll need to order a few more photos , scrap them and slip them into Jan-April...ooops

My goals are fairly simple but the weather is finally improving enough that I just want to get outside and enjoy the sunshine. So my goals are:
* get another lot of photos printed * get the following lot of photos ready to be printed * finish 8 layouts

Planning November crop for here. Keep art journaling and scrapbooking class going, which means gessoing some pages in the kids art journals this week.
Hopefully my job of clearing the basement will be done next week; the contractor will be working in the house the following, and I'll be able to get some pages done for me.

I'd like to get my craft room sorted - walls patched, painted, new storage in place.
I'm also trying out the ListersGottaList challenge for October, which I'd like to complete each day.

Finish up the layouts I started at the last crop I went to, and work on getting some of my anniversary album pages done. A good part of the album is made, I just need to decide which photos to put in it and add some journaling. I'm cropping with friends next weekend all day Saturday, so hopefully being home with all my stuff will make those tasks a little easier.

This month is busy, so I'm not sure how much scrapping time I'll get. But when I do, my goal is to use my Cameo to cut some files and then actually use the cuts on a LO. Small steps!

My October goals are the same as my September goals. I had hoped to have my scrap space up and running by now, but that took a backseat to getting my kids' rooms decorated in our new house. Hopefully this month I'll be able to set up my space. Getting settled in a new house takes so long.

I want to make something from my BG Persimmon collection. After looking for inspiration online, I found this beautiful album by Ramona Downing. I have an unused chipboard album that would be perfect, so I'm going to make my own little fall album of Thanksgiving memories to display every year. That is my goal for the rest of the month. My other goal was to make a banner from the Carta Bella Trick or Treat collection. I finished it today. (Photos removed) One of these days I'll have to figure out the Gallery.

my October goals are simpler than past months' goals (that I am sure I never followed through on, lol!)...
1) I have three month-in-review layouts partly done that I'd like to finish
2) I have photos printed for four layouts I want to make-- a) Day Trip to Jerome-- 2 page b) Ripley's Believe it or Not Museum-- 2 page c) Day Trip to Gila Bend-- 2 page d) Creative Chaos-- 1 page
3) I need to start choosing photos for the vacation mini-albums I'm making for Christmas presents

So how do you upload a photo to a post do you have to have it on a photo site first or can you upload it directly from your phone etc?

When you're in the Reply box, (not Quick Reply) you just hit the Add Attachment button and add it from your files. Really easy. You just have to make sure it's not larger than 1 Mb.

My goals are to organize my scrap room. Organize and order Sept pictures. September PL. Teach 3 classes if people sign up.
And that is all! Perhaps I'll get some traditional pages done, but that is not my focus this month.

My goal for October is to finish getting my scraproom usable. I started painting an old tv armoire to store my supplies, and I hope to be done with it by the end of next weekend. Then I can put everything away with a home for everything. That will let me get going on a big set of cards for my mom's Christmas present. I hope to start on the cards before the end of October. Totally doable. ET: I just started a thread asking for help with my paint color, LOL.

1) I won't complete my craft room clean up but I would like to get through some remaining stamps, PL products and storage and punches. 2) Start making card kits for my weekend crafty getaway in November. I did a great prep in April and was able to get 132 cards finished that weekend. I'd like to do as well in November.

"1) I have three month-in-review layouts partly done that I'd like to finish" ^^^ I'm not going to be able to do any scrapping in the evenings this week, but I took a few minutes before I left for work this morning and cut a couple pieces of paper for one of these month-in-review layouts... you gotta fit it in while you can, right? ETA: freeatlast, 132 cards in a weekend?!?!? That is a huge accomplishment!! congrats! (do you give them as gifts, or sell them?? I think I'm doing good when I can make two or three cards in an evening!)

I quit doing homemade Christmas cards a few years ago when my card list hit 40.

crimsoncat05 and maryannscraps, All of my cards (with the exception of about 5 a year) go to charitable card drives. The ones I made in the spring went to a summer camp for abused kids. In November, I'll be working on Christmas cards for Jennifer McGuire's Caring Hearts Card Drive for nursing home residents. At the same time I'm making these, I will also make holiday cards for a local nursing home that a fellow card maker and I are going to adopt. Not only do I stamp the cards, I decorate the insides and envelopes. I get bored quickly so I only make 6 - 8 of a design. I hope to send at least 200 to the drive and we need 100 for the local nursing home. Once Christmas is done, I switch to valentine's day cards for kids in hospitals. Every month I make cards for Ronald McDonald House and try to support the monthly cause at Cards for a Cause at Splitcoast Stampers. I probably send around 1,000 cards a year.

that's really cool! are the nursing home, summer camp, and Ronald McDonald House 'card drives' something local that you've arranged?? I sort of stopped making cards because I don't really send many myself, but making them for something like this would be fun.
(off to look at Jennifer McGuire's website, and Splitcoast Stampers...)

Wow -- that's so nice of you. I love that you're taking your skill and using it to do something for others. I never thought about donating cards or sending them to an entire nursing home. I'm going to file away that idea for when I'm a little better (and faster) with cards.
