Yeah I know it's way to early to think about the holidays, but Sephora just came out with their annual Sephora: Give Me More Lip holiday set! I just ordered it and received it in the mail today. I love it! So, for those who love lip products, check it out. You get 15 different brands of lip products (lipsticks, lip gloss, etc) for $59. I think it's a pretty good deal since all the lip products are higher end (includes NARS, Clinique, Urban Decay, etc) and you get a nice array of colors and brands. My new favorite shade is the NARS Scarlett Empress, which is a nice berry shade. And it's also fun to try out brands you wouldn't normally try.
Does anyone else love Sephora holiday makeup sets?

I do! I do! I especially like to give the perfume/cologne samplers as gifts. You get a selection of different perfume samples maybe 5 - 10 depending on the price of the set you chose. Then it also comes with a Scent Certificate that you can take to any Sephora to redeem for a full sized bottle of your favorite perfume from the sampler. They actually do these year-round, but its this time of year that they add to the selection. It's always a go to gift.

Does anyone else love Sephora holiday makeup sets? I love makeup in general, but especially lipstick! Is this kit mostly sample sizes or are some full sized?

Does Sephora sell the gift sets in their stores? Do they give out samples in the stores like they do online? I've never shopped at Sephora, but I think some of the gift sets would make nice gifts.

Three full sizes (two lipsticks and a gloss) and the rest are "deluxe" sample sizes. Frankly, deluxe sized is more than big enough for me. I've never in my life finished a tube of lip color. I don't usually see enough in the sephora sets that interests me that I would pick them up (I wish I WERE more daring for some of those colors) but I love the idea of them! I've already bought a couple of holiday sets, though-- a H2O hand wash/cream set for my sister (who said the hand cream is her favorite) and a bare minerals eyeshadow set for myself from Ulta. And the too faced lipstick set with the cute glittery bag-- still kicking myself for not getting that one last year.

Usually. If you can find the item online, you can check the nearest store to see if they have it. Although that's not foolproof. Sometimes it says it's in stock, but no one knows what you're talking about (SEPHORA IN JCPENNEY, I AM TALKING TO YOU). And sometimes the online tool says it's in stock, but the store hasn't gotten its shipment yet, or the item's not on the floor (although my regular sephora store has been nice about checking). My suggestion is to print out whatever you're looking for and take it with you, just in case. It's often really helpful to show them what you want.

Mixture of full size and bigger than sample sizes. When I say bigger than sample size, I mean you could probably use the product for several months and you won't run out. I love the colors this year. They are mostly colors that I could actually wear (meaning work appropriate). Last year they came out with this but they had a lot of nudes. This year, they have a lot of pink, red, and berry tones, which I think lots really nice on everyone. If you have a Sephora near you, they usually display everything the kit has, so you will be able to swatch the products.

I know I could just go look but I'm being lazy. Lol Are the colours actual colours that anybody can wear or are these bright reds and neon pinks and funky oranges/purples etc?
I love the idea of these sets but as a fair skinned blue eyed blonde (when I have hair)I often find the colours in these kits more suited to Halloween clown costumes. Not everyone can wear fire engine red lipstick or neon fuschia lipstain. Kat

Put me down for the mascara sampler. I love the chance to try all the different mascara brands. My mom gets me this set for Christmas every year. You also get some type of extra like an eyelash curler or makeup remover.

I got the Urban Decay 24/7 eyeliner set of 8 and the UD lipstick sample kit from their website last December.
Sephora's Black Friday sale was amazing. There was a ton of cool sets for $10-15. I tried some L'Occitane products, mascaras...
I also got a set of NARS velvet pencils--6 for $40. They're $25 each normally.
