I just bought a Memory Box die and I LOVE its detail. However, it takes 20 or 30 minutes to get the cut paper out of the die.
Any tips or tricks for me? Please?
Thanks in advance!

Dryer sheets- check! If those are not on hand, try wax paper. Then there is the proprietary stuff: scrapbook companies make specially sized small rolls of wax paper with designs on it so you can use it on your page after ejection- try Couture Creations, an OZ-based company. Also of benefit: a little roller with a brush end (try Sizzix) which comes with a foam pad. You roll the brush over the back of the die and the mulitiple fibre ends help to eject the diecut. Good luck! ETA: link in DinCA's post below. Spellbinders makes a similar multi-tool with pokey ends as well.

Or try a little bit of painter's tape or other low-tack tape to help you pull the paper out of the die. (I wonder if a post it would suffice.)
Sometimes I just drop the die on my desk from a couple of feet above.

This is a tool you could pick up. It works really well and fast! sizzix die brush and foam pad Unfortunately, it's sold out right now but they will get it back in stock. I've seen it at Hobby Lobby, though. Michaels might have it, too. Also, if you want to see a demo, here's a youtube video: video

I use wax paper between my die and the card stock or paper. It works well.
For getting the littles scraps that get stuck, I use a tool that I bought from Amazon. I think it might be by Spellbinders. It has a pick on one end, and a rolling brush on the other. It is a great tool, and wasn't that expensive.

I used to use the "throw it on your desk a few times" technique mentioned by @eddie-and-Harley. It's a good technique for relieving frustration. Recently I've started using a piece of washi tape to pull the die cut from the die. Works fine but doesn't have the same feel as pitching the die across the room!

for the really stubborn little bits, after the 'throw it on the desk' technique, i just use a needle to jab them and pull them out…does that mean i have too much time on my hands?

Thanks for this thread!
I've all but abandons a bunch of really intricate Spellbinder dies because I can't get the paper out of them without ruining the diecut.
Now I know to use wax paper between the cardstock & die.
And I think I wanna get that handy dandy Sizzix tool to get the little pieces of paper gone.

I love RefuPeas, it's so nice read solutions for problems. I never knew there was a tool, I've been dropping, throwing and using a little pick. I'm out this weekend. Has the Sizzix tool, or Oz one , been spotted in any US brick and mortar stores?

Recently I've started using a piece of washi tape to pull the die cut from the die. Washi is my go-to method for getting paper out of dies. I make sure it isn't super sticky (you know, for washi tape) or stick it to my skin first to remove some of the tack. Otherwise it can be hard to remove the tape from the die cut cleanly.

I did not know about that handy dandy tool. So thanks for enabling me because one is on its way to my house.
